Childhood

I was born on March 22, 1987 in Donetsk. My farther, Gordeev Georgiy Grigoriyevich, is an associate professor, PhD in physicomathematical sciences, head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Donetsk Branch of Ukrainian State University of Finance and International Trade. My mother, Gordeeva Irina Zhanovna, is a senior programing engineer, deputy head of International Payment Cards sector of the branch «Kiev department of Prominvestbank in Donetsk».

School years

When I turned 7, I went to school as everyone else in my age. It was a comprehensive physicomathematical school No. 17. After a short interview I was sent to a specialized class «À» where subjects were taught on the basis of the knowledge of the first grade curriculum that a pupil already knew and so the ordinary curriculum was extended and made more complex. At that time the school was thought to be one of the best in Donetsk.

University years

I chose to specialize in system programming because I have always enjoyed working on a computer and because this profession is in high demand.

My wish to study at this University was caused by the fact that at that time this faculty where I chose my specialty was thought to be the best in this University and in the city. The most interesting subjects for me were the subjects that expected me to write programs in the C language and later in the C++ language.

I was motivated to receive a master’s degree by an ambition to get as much profound higher education as possible as a master’s degree is worth in the world far more than a bachelor's degree and even a specialist’s degree.

Plans for the future

My major plans are naturally to finish successfully the Master's degree program and get the degree. In the course of writing my thesis I am planning to study in full measure a skill of working on a project in a team. Moreover, I am also plannig for my future work to study in full measure the qualities and a behavior pattern of a leader in a project.
