The autobiography

The childhood

          I, Semenenko Darya, was born on June, 14th, 1987 in Makeyevka in a family of engineers. It was a very hot and a sunny day that is why, probably, I love summer warm days so much since the very childhood.
          Mum, Semenenko Elena, has always been the loving mother, the exacting teacher and the best friend for me. Furthermore, she is a very trusty person, who you can always receive a practical advice from.
          My daddy, Semenenko Jury, has taught me to trust in myself, never to lose courage and not to give up even if it is really difficult to finish.
          One more person, who has considerably affected me deeply, is my older brother, Semenenko Artem. Artem used to take me away from the kindergarten, played with me, helped me to do my lessons. I’m so grateful to him for all things he did for me.
          The time in kindergarten has left only sweet memories in my heart. There I found a lot of new friends, very kind tutors, with who I had interesting entertainments all days long. The tutors have instilled in me such qualities as responsibility, kindness, diligence.

School

          On September, 1st, 1994, at the age of 7, I began to attend school. At the same year my mum took me to the dance classes, I’m so grateful to her for this.
          My first teacher, Svetlana Akimovna, has left an unforgettable trace in my life; I would like to be similar to her in everything - from her manner to dress tastefully to her ability to inform people with necessary information easily and well.
          It was easy for me to study but if there were some problems and difficulties my parents, teachers and older friends helped me. So I passed from a year to another year with certificates of progress and diplomas.
          I tried to show the activity in every possible way during my studying at school. When I was on my 6 year of a school I became the manager of my group, I organized various school performances, I took part in all school actions. Moreover, I presented my school in the different competitions, and I also found time to devote it to my hobby – the dance classes.
          Every teacher was remembered in own way, for example, someone expressed the impetuous energy; another one had a great fidelity to a subject. However, I would like to express a special gratitude to Chernyak Rosalia Borisovna. She is a teacher of mathematics and physics. She has instilled in me love to the exact sciences and has affected a choice of my future specialty.
          I have finished school in 2004 with a gold medal.

University

          The choice of the further direction of study became one of the most difficult moments in my life. Every person in my family studied in Donetsk national technical university and every of them hoped that I’ll also choose the same. And I justified their hopes with pleasure; I chose specialty - economic cybernetics.
          So the days of preparation began. There weren’t problems with mathematics but the computer science seemed to me something incomprehensible.
          During this period of my life I was supported by Teplinskiy Sergey, who believed in me, and made me believe that I can do everything. He didn’t allow me to despair. And thanking his help, support and ability to explain, I have entered the university by results of students competition.
          I still remember the first day of my university studying. It was the endless search of required university building and room; I was so excited that days.
          The first year of studying at university was a little difficult. Lecturers seemed very strict and exacting - Skvorcov A., Rudchenko T. and others. But it is necessary to give to them due; they have pushed us to understanding of necessity of studying and of a choice of priorities in the future.
          The group was very friendly, and in the middle of a year we had a number of joint trips to Shurovo, Svyatogorsk and so on.
          Every day I discovered something new: subjects, teachers, sleepless nights, examinations, conferences, modules...
          The scientific activities have begun in the first year already. The first worthy one, in my opinion, was the project on computer science at Datsun N.The best students of our group who have showed the best results on students entrance competitions. The topic was a creation of the diagnostic test for patients in the environment of Visual Basic for Vishnevsky hospital. Then I have written a number of articles, which were published in collections of conference works in economy direction. Behind publications there were also performances at conferences which made me more confident during presentations of my projects behind a big audience.
          I have ended the fourth year with honour. By the end of receiving of Bachelor’s degree moment my average mark was 4,98, that has given me the chance to get a scholarship and became the candidate for Master’s degree.
          As supervisor of studies I chose Dmitrieva Olga, who has always made as amazed with a level of the vocational and also with human qualities such as kindness, desire to help and persistence. Besides, the direction of researches of Olga is close to my interests. «Simulation of the prevention of bankruptcy of the industrial enterprises», the topic of the project, I chose without any doubts. At present, I have all motives for a writing a first class master’s project - interesting and important topic, desire for self realization and a huge creative potential.

Plans for the future

          It’s no secret that one of the important and significant plans for the nearest future is the successful creation and further excellent presentation of my master’s project and also its successful introduction and approbation at the enterprises.
          The further stage of my life is an employment for interesting well paid job which will help me to realize myself; wish to discover and comprehend new things.
          There are a lot of different plans (beginning from receiving of driver’s license and finishing with a round-the-world travel), and I am sure, that all of them will become truth. The most important thing is not to lose courage and self-reliance inspite of any circumstances. It is very necessary to be in harmony with yourself and your relatives, accurately set purposes and do your best trying to achieve them. And still important to keep an optimism inspite of all obstacles; just in such way all of them will be passed with ease.
