I was born on February 15, 1987 in Donetsk. My mother Valentina (1955) is a head of laboratory in Donetsk dermatovenerologic dispensary no.2 and my father Vitaly Ivanovich (1953) currently works as an engineer at JSC Donetsk Steel Works. I have an older sister Victoria Alexeyeva (1980) who has graduated DonNTU as a computer-aided systems software specialist and now works in "Boolat Game Development Company" as a head of localization department
I clearly remember my childhood at kindergarten, my teachers and children who were there with me. I remember my first friends and games. Unfortunately at that time I considered loosing in a game to be a real disaster. So every time I was loosing a game I felt bitter disappointment. The brightest moments of that period were our festivities and parties, where I wore curious costumes.
1994 I entered Donetsk high school no.119. My schooldays were full of interesting events and encounters, as I tended to learn and know more about surrounding world and social life. Besides of school lessons I chose different activities to broaden my horizons.
Already at the first form I began attending a dancing class at the local Music and Art school. During the period of my studying there I participated in many district, municipal and regional holiday concerts, performed on the stage of Donetsk Opera Theatre and was welcome at our school parties and concerts for parents. In the fifths form Kharlanovskaya Veronika Leonidovna became our form mistress and added more creativity and diversity to our school life. But I didn’t forget about school lessons, won several school and municipal academic competitions and got excellent results year after year. I was very active at that period and later and I also was one of the leaders in the social life of our school.
I liked dancing and I have studied it for 5 years but there were 2 years more to study till the end of the course, when I decided that dancing was not my real wish. I left the Music and Art school despite of resistance: they said I was talented at dancing. But dancing lessons took all the spare time I had and moreover I was inspired by eastern martial arts and decided to take karate-do lessons. During my training I took part in several district and city competitions organized by S. A. Lapshin’s school of martial arts.
So sport appeared to be special for me at my schooldays. I always liked different kinds of sport. I played in our basketball school team and took part in track-and-field events. I also was a school platoon leader in various marching and military art competitions, where we won first places several times. My interest in sport was at it’s highest point in the eighths form, when I went to a Children and Youth Sports School no. 1. I regarded pole-vaulting and short sprint to be the most attractive and spectacular kinds of sport that’s why I chose short sprint. The first half-year of my training was really difficult, but I liked it in spite of constant tiredness. And then there was a moment when I saw progress. I began winning in our Sport School events and then in municipal and regional contests in 60, 100 and 200 meters. My achievements in athletics were useful for my regular school, but at the eleventh form I had to choose between sport and education. When you train sport, you have to change your way of life accordingly, you have to hold to a special diet, keep up day regimen and attend all training sessions. These are the basics of professional sport. I tried to combine studying at school and sport training but I was constantly tired and I had no spare time, so I failed.
At the same time my social life at school flourished. At the beginning of the ninth form I was invited to be a presenter at several parties and by the middle of that school year I was a host at all cultural events of our school. That was the reason why I came to our school theatre The Pink Deer. I played many parts in our performances but the most interesting were Hector in Apple of Discord and Hagrid in Harry Potter. I finished school with gold medal.
In 2001-2005 our government developed and carried into practice a program Gifted Children, and I was recorded in the list of gifted children of Budyonnovsky District of Donetsk. As a result in August 2004 a group of gifted children from Chernovtsy came for a vocation to Melekino on the Azov Sea shore and a group of gifted children from Donetsk went to a forest camp in Chernovtsy. That was an unforgettable experience! At the beginning of the eleventh form I started preparing for the preliminary examination to Donetsk National Technical University. I chose Computer Science and Engineering Department and as it appeared later my choice was the best I could make. In summer 2004 I successfully passed the exams and entered the University.
The first course was marked by new acquaintances and impressions. Our group was very friendly and sociable, so that the first session went unnoticed. Passing it, feel this student. In the second course, decided to join the military departments, which he graduated in 2008, commissioned sub-lieutenant.
First course at the University was full of new acquaintances and impressions. Our group appeared really friendly and communicative, so the first examinations were not stressful at all. Strictly speaking I got a real sensation of being a student when I passed my first university exams. On the second course I decided to study on a senior division and after finishing it in 2008 I received an officership and became a junior lieutenant. On the first course I participated in a contest Join Multimedia 2005 held by Siemens as a part of the company’s program Youth and Knowledge. The contest is organized every year and has many participants from European countries. I was a leader of GameStream command consisting of 7 people and we successfully handed in our project. As we worked on it I’ve got experience in handling with Macromedia Flash, Photoshop and Corel Draw. I also took part in student competition in strategic management Global Management Challenge Junior 2008 and delivered lectures at scientific conferences.
Apart from studying and scientific work I was engaged in social life of the University. I was a member of the Club of the cheerful and sharp-witted University team Kemely and took part in numerous shows. When I finished the first course in 2005 I began working at Moscow Expert Center for Innovation Spetsinzhiniring and Scientific and Technical Center Pozhneftegazproekt-M as an information technology specialist. Trough the years of working there I have created a plenty of presentations and programs, as well as computer-aided systems connected with termination and prevention of oil spills. At present I am a head of computer-aided systems department.
2008 I’ve got a bachelor degree with honours and according to my grade point average I was accepted to a free MA course, where I study now. I have chosen Development of graphic interface and special program modules for Donetsk Euro-2012 as my graduation thesis and work on it under the direction of my scientific advisor professor Gennady Averin.
One of the goals I wish to achieve in the nearest future is to successfully present my graduation thesis. After that I plan to move to Moscow and make a career. I wish to achieve the level of Transas, which is one of the leading companies in my field.
