Abstract
The problem of the domestic and industrial use of coals of the Donetsk basin is related to the grade. In different branches of industry there are the calls, produced to the grade of coals. Irregularity of some coefficients influences on a cost and even purview coal. Therefore a question of calculation of coefficients of grade of coal on it is not enough the studied departments of the mine fields is urgent.
This investigation is conducted on the task of state enterprise «Artemugol».
The goal of work is detection of conformities to the law of distribution of coefficients of grade of coal in the Central coal area (on the example of geological horizon m3), that will allow to forecast the grade of coal on the not enough studied clots.
Tasks of investigation:
- to study the grade of coal of geological horizon m3 within the limits of the fields of state enterprise «Artemugol»’s mines;
- to define conformities to the law of distribution of high-quality data of coal;
- to expose geological factors, influencing on distribution of different coefficients of grade on the separate mine fields;
- to estimate influence of structural condition of the mine fields on the grade of coal, by comparison of data, got for north and southern anticline flanks;
- to design practical recommendations for the calculation of grade of coal.
Idea of work: utilizing the exposed conformities to the law in distribution of coefficients of grade of coals to specify prognostication of grade of coal on insufficiently known departments.
The object of investigation is coal of geological horizon of m3 within the limits of the fields of mines of state-run enterprise «Artemugol».
The subject of investigation are spatial conformities to the law of distribution of coefficients of grade of coal, their bonds with geological factors.
Methods of investigation:
- evaluation of graphic material (geological card of district, hypsometric charts, stratigraphic columns and other);
- statistical evaluation (processing of data is carried out facilities of SPSS 15.0 for Windows software.);
- regressive evaluation;
- spatial evaluation (carried out facilities of Surfer 7.0 software).
Scientific value of work
The evaluation of distribution of coefficients of grade of coal is conducted from reports, the conformities to the law set before are confirmed, dependence of care of mercury is set on the condition of the mine field, cares are grey from the presence of rock interlayer in coal. The change of grade composition of coals is confirmed in architecture of Donbas’s Main anticlinal fold, conditioned dependence of metamorphism degree on the modern depth of burial.
Practical value of work: equations of bond of coefficients of grade of coals are got with geological factors the use of which will allow to forecast the grade of coal on it is not enough the studied departments.
Personal deposit of author.
I systematized the before conducted investigations, the tasks of work are certain, selections are made, statistical, regressive and spatial evaluations are conducted. On the basis of data of work practical recommendations are made.
Approbation of data of work
The questions of this work were given a report at conference of the Allukrainian student scientific conference «Geology of XXI age. An international year of planet Earth». Dnepropetrovsk 2009.
Fields of mines, entering in run-state enterprise «Artemugol» are in the Central coal area which is confined to the western feature of the Main anticlinal fold of Donets Basin. On a south an anticlinal fold sharply passes to declivous Kal'mius - Toreck hollow, and in the north – in Bakhmuts. To the habitats of coupling of anticline flanks with submeridional rock bends large Bulavinskiy is confined, Brunval'dskiy and Gorlovskiy overlap faults. The structure of the Main anticlinal fold is almost symmetric. More steeply, as compared to southern, a north blade beds in the western feature of district, and vice versa, in the east feature of district steeper - southern. The declivous western shorting of the Main anticlinal fold moves away from steeply beddings blades overlap faults: By a north (in the north) and Main (on a south). Collection of blowout violations, mainly overthrust class, complicates a structure, both anticline flanks and axial feature. Almost all of overlap faults, having the south and south-west batice, meet in an axial feature in single collection. The arcs of swing of overlap faults here diminish quickly, and a belt is characterized numerous, but small amplitude biases. The most large overlap faults with the southern batice of fault fissure it is been (westerly east): Axial, Glawniy, Artemovsk, Chegarskiy, Gorlovskiy and Brunval'dskiy. Arcs of swing them a to 700 - 1000 m change from a 40 - 50 m (Chegarskiy, Axial) (Gorlovskiy).
Basic data for this work are data of assay for to 169 coring tests on geological horizon of m3, from which 96 selected on a north blade and 73 - on South. For investigation geological horizon of m3 is chosen, which presents large industrial interest. He is self-possessed horsepower and has a low ash-content (average 12%). Absolute marks of sampling from -177 to -1824 m. The followings coefficients are certain in tests: bulk of reservoir rock, ash-content of coal, care grey, escape of volatile, depth of plastometric stratum, reflectivity of vitrinite. Tests are selected from coals of different grades from G to T.
For the decision of tasks put the followings methods are chosen in this work:
- evaluation of graphic material which enables in detail to consider the geological feature of object;
- statistical evaluation, allowing to describe the array of data, expose bonds between different coefficients (processing of data is carried out facilities of SPSS 15.0 for Windows software.);
- regressive evaluation, applying which equations are made regressions, mathematically expressing bonds between different coefficients;
- spatial evaluation, through this method disengagement of spatial conformities to the law of distribution of coefficients and their attachment is carried out to the geological features of object.
On the first stage of work the evaluation of geological document, containing data about sedimentology and tectonic geology of department of investigations was conducted, information for a selection, on which statistical coefficients are designed and cross-correlation bonds are certain for every mine field individually, is selected. Such coefficients, as horsepower and ash-content of geological horizon, have the most informing, care grey, escape of volatile, depth of plastometric stratum, absolute mark of selection of test. For these coefficients designed maximal and minimum values, average of coefficient and standard deviation, characterizing the degree of changeability of coefficient. On statistical data the characteristics of the separate mine fields are certain, maximums and minimums are exposed for every coefficient. Cross-correlation bonds, reflecting the degree of dependence between distribution of different coefficients, are also certain. The exposed conformities to the law allow to work out equations of regression for definition of values of such important coefficients, as sulphur content and reflectivity of vitrinite.
Comparison of geology of department and grade of coal on this department allows to expose geological factors, influencing on distribution of the studied characteristics. On a north blade geological horizon is self-possessed on horsepower, maximal changeability on an ash-content is observed on end-on mines - the name of Izotova and Kondrat'evka, here with the structure of geological horizon not fixed a clear bond. Most changeability on a care sulphurs marked on the field of mine the name of Kalinina.
On the Southern blade geological horizon is less self-possessed on horsepower, average horsepower on the mine fields decreases westerly east; a maximal ash-content is marked on mines with the difficult structure of geological horizon is Komsomolec and Kochegarka, most changeability and average care of sulphur is fixed on the field of mine the name of Gaevogo.
Coefficients are escape of volatile, depth of plastometric stratum and reflectivity of vitrinite reflect the gang of grade composition on both blades.
On the separate mine fields a regressive evaluation was not conducted, as I am foresee drafting of equations of regression for all of the mine fields separately on north and Southern blades.
Comparison of geology of department and distribution of coefficients of grade gave the followings data on the whole:
- dependence of ash-content on the structure of geological horizon;
- bond between a care grey an ash-content on a north blade;
- bonds, reflecting the characteristics of metamorphism of the Main anticlinal fold (between the coefficients of escape volatile, sloya the depths of plastometric, by the reflectivity of vitrinite from one side and by the depth of selection of test - with other).
Comparing north and southern blades, it should be noted differences are in their geological feature. More difficult structure has the southern blade, characterized greater changeability of amounts of inclination of breeds, it is stronger dislocated tectonic. At the same time coals of north blade are more changeable on grade composition and have more high degree of metamorphization.
On the whole on blades cross-correlation bonds, reflecting distribution of coefficients of degree of metamorphism, are got. For a north blade most interest is presented by equation of regression, got for the reflectivity of vitrinite on a north blade (independent variables are an absolute mark of selection of test and escape of volatile).
Equation of regression for a north blade has a next class

Coefficient of determination of equation (R2 ) 0.828, standard fault 0,096
Application given equation in practice will allow to delineate the reflectivity of vitrinite on it is not enough the studied departments.
On the Sonth blade equation of regression is got for other important coefficient of grade of cokings coals - stratum the depths of plastometric (independent variables are an absolute mark of selection of test and escape of volatile).
Equation of regression for the southern blade has a next class
Y = 0,591v + 0,003glub + 1,858
It equation is less exact: coefficient of determination (R2 ) 0,386, standard fault 0.181.
Application given equation in practice will allow to delineate the depth of plastometric stratum on it is not enough the studied departments.
In this work were detection of conformity to the law of distribution of coefficients of grade of coals and their bond with geological factors, on the basis of what worked out equations regressions the use of which will allow to specify the calculations of grade.
