Average mark during the period of study at the university
I was born on August 29th, 1988 in Donetsk.
Father Edward S. Petrov has two education. He graduated technical college with a degree in Master of sewing men's and women's outerwear, worked in the studio. Later he graduated Donetsk National Technical University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering: Metal-cutting machines and tools. Over the last 10 years father is a teacher of mechanical drawing, labor training and the course «Protecting the Homeland» in Makeevka school ¹89.
Mother Tatiana A. Petrova received a diploma accompanist and music teacher. She later graduated Donetsk National University with a degree in Philologist, teacher of Russian language and literature. My mother works as deputy director on educational work in school ¹89.
The family have a younger sister. She is a student of III year of the DonNTU (specialty «Electronic System»).
Thirst for electrical engineering I have already appeared at the age of 3-4 years, when I made the simplest circuit of alternating current of a few extension cords and table lamp. I was interested in the work of the vacuum cleaner and investigated the effects of electrical outlets. Perhaps this played a decisive role in choosing a profession, although in the early forms I wanted to become a clown. I think that even now not all is lost!
In child I was interested in chess. In school I was trained by famous coach of Makeyevka the master of sport in chess Zoya F. Matyushina. In 10 form of the school I have fulfilled the I norm in chess.
I played the piano under the guidance of mom and has had some success. But the time to hone skills in music and chess sorely lacking.
I studied easily. Copy- and exercise books on mathematics, which have been left for memory, confirm that. It was prestigious to be a good pupil in the class. Our physical and mathematical class graduated school with five gold medalists (one of which I am) and two silver. Five years have passed but our teacher greeted us with joy at the school at any time and recall our many educational and artistic merit.
Many vivid memories associated with the school, which concern not only the educational process. Our class took part in the different district and urban sports (football, table tennis, chess, competition of young traffic wardens) and intellectual games.
Also our class became a member of creating school museums, which was devoted 50th anniversary of the school and 60-year anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War.
I was Minister of Education two years, when I was a member of the Parliament of the school self-organization.
Together with my school friends we radios our small school. It also left a lot of impressions.
Our class always took an active part in school festivals and concerts, and became a prize-winner and holder of the top places in various musical and theatrical competitions. There were staging the song «Beautiful Marquis» of L.Utjosov, the comedy «Chasing Two Hares», dance «Quadrille», dance of the natives of the savage tribe, a scene from the life of the people of the Great Netakija, a song «Òè æ ìåíå ï³äìàíóëà», representation of Tatar nationality in Makeyevka Festival of Friendship. The two hour movie about the school and our class was the result of our active life.
I diligently studied mathematics without tutors and successfully passed the test rating in February. While I studying at DonNTU I participated in olympiads in industrial electronics and electrical machines, a spoked at conferences. In 2007 I received a scholarship named G.Kayalov, and in 2009 I received a bachelor's degree with honors.
When I got the opportunity to enter the Masters, I did it without thinking! In April 2010 I took part in the second stage of the Ukrainian Student Olympiad on specialty «Electrical system of a power consumption», which was held at the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kiev Polytechnic Institute». I took second place in individual competition at this Olympiad. On average point IV prize was awarded to our university. We were rewarded with valuable prizes from the sponsors of the Olympiad.
Scientific Adviser of the my master's work is a professor Eduard G. Kourennyi. I interest in issues of electromagnetic compatibility, so the theme of my work is the evaluation of EMC by the voltage unbalance.
I believe that the greatest benefit has brought the study at the university «Theory of Electrical Engineering», «Electric Power Systems and Networks», «Electrical Machines», «Electrical apparatus», «Converters», «Fundamentals of protective relaying» and «Industrial companies and cities electric supply».
When I finish my studies in master's degree, I plan to link my future with electric power in the workplace and to combine this work with the scientific activity.
