The average mark during my study at the University was 4.96. I speak Russian and Ukrainian fluently. I can read, translate and write in English. I have acquired certain experience (skills) while working with laboratory chemical things and some devices. Also I have certain skills in programming (programs Mat Cad, Mat Lab, C++, VBA). I am ford of music, like to watch interesting films, read books, collect puzzles. I am good at knitting, embroidery, my artificial flowers are very beautiful.
I am Yulia Suhomlin, born on the 24th of September in 1988 in the town of Constantinovka of the Donetsk region. My mother, Lyudmila Vladimirovna, is a mistress and musician in a kindergarten. My father, Sergey Nicolayevich, was engaged in repairing cars. My younger sister Helen finished a medical college and works at the station of emergency in Donetsk. In my childhood I was a very mobile and capricious child as my parents say. At seven months I could walk. I was very little when I learnt to read, write and calculate. The most vivid memory from my childhood is showing models, wearing my mother’s clothes and shoes on high heels. Our parents often bought sweets "Kinder Surprise" for us. We had a large collection of toys.
In 1995 I went to school. It was a general education school number 17. My first teacher was Ruslana Vladimirovna Poplavskaya, she was our first mother at school, who fostered in children a love to education.
In 2001 I went to Ilyichev Specialized School with juridical bias and finished in 2005 with honours having been awarded with the gold medal. My class (form) manager was Oksana Sergeyevna Shatilova. She was a very good teacher. Thanks to her our school life was very interesting and the relations between (among) children were friendly and good.
During my study at school I took part in different Olympiads in Ukrainian and English languages, in chemistry and biology, took the second and first places. In biology I took the first place (local Olympiad). I took part in local brain rings in law, history, in poetry (T. Shevchenco), in different concerts as well.
I remember I took place in the conference of Small Academy of Science (the section of English language), trying to investigate the English System of education.
I have known that the local museum was opened in Ilyichev school. The interesting exhibitors were collected by inhabitants, pupils and teachers.
The Ilyichev specialized school takes the second place in the region. It’s due to the work of teachers and, of course, the director of school - Svetlana Vladimirovna Kicilenko.
I have been thinking for a long time what profession (speciality) to choose. At first I decided to choose the economic faculty, I even passed the examinations. At the same time I was interviewed by teachers (speciality "Ecology of chemical technology"). At last I have chosen the last one. Now I am a student of magistracy at Donetsk National Technical University. I think that the profession of ecology is very important at our times.
In 2009 I got a diploma of bachelor. I study the conception of complex use of low-weight industrial waste and municipal solid waste under the competent direction of the professor Yuriy Belogurov.
The study at the University is very interesting and useful.
My plans in future are to graduate from the University with honours (the so-called "Red Diploma"). After graduating I’d like to have a good job, high-powered and well-paid. I will always try to improve the situation in my country, especially concerning the problem of environment. My plans are to take driving courses and pass the examination at once, to improve my English, to study French language as well.
My dream is to visit France and to see as much as possible about this wonderful country.
And, of course, I want to marry and bring up my son.
My features of character, purposefulness, persistence and confidence will help me to fulfill all my dreams and plans. I believe in myself and this is the most important thing in everybody’s life.
