Introduction
Caldo-protsees intended for production of quality steel from cast iron with high content of sulfur and phosphorus. To date, this process is receiving increasing attention because quantity and quality of supplies of ore less. Caldo-process has several advantages the most important of which is to obtain high-quality steel at the lowest cost to the process, however, a significant shortcoming of the existing design the converter for the implementation of this process, namely, the complexity of the equipment is not allowed Caldy potsessu be widely adopted. In this course project offered a way to optimize Caldy process - use as a dispenser of lime powder screw feeder vertical type.
The purpose of my work is the design model for input lance with screw feeder vertical type. This machine is designed for entry into Caldo-converter oxygen lance and the measured supply in the blast of powdery materials. The model is designed to conduct its comprehensive laboratory tests. Received in the course of the test bench installation, the information is used to compare the theoretical and actual parameters of the model, as well as for calculating the parameters of the real machine.
Description of the nature of the proposed development
The normal course of processing molten metal of powdered materials depends largely on the stability of the dispenser. The main requirement, which must meet the dispenser in the processing of powder steel - high accuracy and uniformity of dosage. Even minor fluctuations in performance dosing may cause release of metal from the furnace and reduce the productivity and profitability Caldo process. To optimize the measured supply of powdered materials in an oxygen lance Caldo-converter is proposed to use the vertical screw feeder type. This dispenser has a high accuracy and stability of work, due to its structural features.
The quality process also affects the reliability design of the mechanism for the introduction of the lance and the maintenance of the hopper. To this end, the project uses the mechanism presented in Figure 1. A special feature of this design is the use of screw-nut transmission. This transfer provides high positioning accuracy at the expense of self-braking, and also has a higher efficiency due to lack of demand for gear and brakes.
Industrial application of such a dispenser requires the prior conduct of its comprehensive laboratory tests. Obtained in the course of the test bench installation, the information is used to compare the theoretical and actual parameters of our control. These studies may be carried out only on the model of a screw feeder with vertical type.
