:: Childhood ::
I was born on April 2, 1988 at 4 o'clock in the morning in Donetsk, Donetsk region. My parents: father Fedorov Vasily Vasilevich is the head of IT department in a private company, mother Fedorova Elena Petrovna is the inspector on personal histories registration.
I was an inquisitive child never giving rest to adults. The kindergardens I went to were Ukrainian-languaged “Dolphin” and Russian-languaged “Stork”. In preschool years I took a great interest in lots of activities – drawing, writing stories and verses, inventing games. The construction set was my favourite toy.
:: School years ::
When I was seven years old I went to the public school №54. My favourite subjects were physics and mathematics. I took a great interest in programming under the influence of my father in elementary school. Then I began to study programming languages (Pascal, C++). As a result I participated in creation of such successful CD-albums as “History of Russia” and “Scythians Gold”. Also I was a member of programmers’ team developing “Atlas of the human morphology” and “The Arms Encyclopaedia”.
In the secondary school I took part in olympiads on mathematics, physics and chemistry. I took prize-winning places. In the ninth form I participated for the first time in the regional olympiads on informatics.
I took a great interest in the models creation (models from paper, plasticine, tree and metal).
I left school with a medal. In graduation form I was preparing for the entering exams to Donetsk national technical university (DonNTU). I am grateful to Gordeev George and Datsun Natalia for their consultations and help. After the first exam I was on the fifth place among the students entering my specialty. This allowed me not to participate in follow-up exams.
:: University ::
I chose Donetsk national technical university already in the 10th form and the specialty “Software for automated systems” in the 11th. I was accepted as the DonNTU budget student on my entering exam results. The most pleasant years of my life were the studying years at university. I have found good friends, felt freedom and taste of adult life. But the enormous variability of opportunities for entertainment didn’t prevent me from gaining knowledge throughout the period of study.
During the study I participated in many professional conferences in Donetsk. I have never resigned from individual works given by teachers. I received the bachelor’s degree after the 4-year studying and entered the magistracy.
Being in the 3d year of studying I became interested in neural networks algorithms under the leadership of Fedyaev Oleg. One of the reasons why I chose this field of computer technologies was the one that it is promising a very rapid development in the west and has almost no development in the CIS. The second reason was that the neural networks systems provide extensive and inaccessible for the classical approach possibilities of designing software systems.
