I, Daria Deriagina, was bom on the 7th of March, 1988 in Yenakiyevo. My birth date coincided with the date birth of my mother, Nataliia Petrovna Deryagina. The zodiac year and time of our date births also concurred. For some time, my parents couldn't decide what name would better do with me, new born baby, so my father, Anatoly Petrovich Deryagin, called me «little diamond». Years later, my elder sister, Nataliia Anatolyevna Kalinichenko (Deryagina), gave birth to her son Rostislav. It happened on the 7th of March, 2004. I can definitely say, that the «7» number symbol accompanies me in my life and it's connected only with some impressive and important events.
I was admitted to the kindergarten at the age of 1.5. As a child I was shy, quiet and reserved. I didn't communicate willingly, and answered the questions by nodding my head. I liked reading and I loved when my mother read me books. No wonder that I always wanted book as a present for any holiday. I also liked singing and I constantly hummed different melodies.
In the year of 1995, I started school # 6, and also I was admitted to the music school for the piano classes. For the first three years of study I was a high achiever. But then I started participating in active social school life devoting much time to it, which ended in being a B student. After graduating from the music school, I was admitted to the «Leadership School» under the Donetsk Regional Administration. In the school I improved my leadership skills, sociability and single-mindness.
I acted as a presenter of many talent shows in our school, and also I took part in many city and regional activities. I was the head of the children's non-governmental organization. I also took part in the reciters' competitions and KVN's very often. In general, none of the city or school events took place without my active participation. Despite my being busy, I managed to graduate from school with excellent marks.
In June, 2005 I was interviewed and then admitted to the faculty of mining engineering and geology, with the major of «Technologies and Techniques of the Minerals Deposits Prospecting». My elder sister also studied here. As a sophomore I entered the driving school for «B» category. So, I've been driving the car for 3 years now.
In February', 2006 I took second major of «Enterprise management» under the faculty of «Personnel Retraining». In February, 2010 I got Bachelor's degree and continued studying for getting specialist's diploma.
I cannot insist on having great engineering bent, I just always did my best to do everything on time and to have my grant. That's why I made my average grade 4.4 in Bachelor's degree course, and then entered MA course having my scholarship.
In March, 2010 I participated in the All-Ukrainian Contest of the Scientific Projects, which was held in Ivano-Frankovsk. I met plenty of interesting people, and also traveled to Yaremche and Bukovel. This trip was organized by Ivano-Frankivsk Techical University of Gas and Oil. I am still very thankful for the trip.
After graduation I'm planning to find a good job, of course, and to fulfill all my cherished dreams.
I will name three of them, the most striking ones. The first dream is to have united and loving family; the second one is to visit seven seas, because in that case, according to the popular belief, I will live happily all my life. For now, I've visited only four seas. And the third dream I wanted to tell you about is to see Oksana, my agnate sister. We have never met before, and she has found my contacts in the Internet last year. She lives far in Vladivostok, that's why it's not so easy for us to organize the meeting. But I really hope this dream will soon come true. Relatives should always be together and keep in touch, because family is perhaps the most important thing in our life.
