Childhood
I, Popova Anna Sergeevna, was born on February 24, 1989 year in the town Kremennaya, Lugansk region. That is to say the best gift to my father to the Day of Fatherland Defenders. At maternity home even wanted to make note about date of my birth on February 23, but a family head insisted, that there were two holidays in house: Fatherland defenders Day and Birthday of elder daughter. Now our family lives in the beautiful town Kremennaya, Lugansk region, which is famous for its forests and rest camps, the most famous of which is “Prilesnoe”.
Family
Mother Irina Popova is the head of an industrial site of “Ukraine post office”; father Sergei Popov is power engineer of municipal enterprises complex. sister — Marina Popova is a pupil of the 8th form at school number 1.
I didn’t go to the kindergarten. A loving grandmother Valentina Popova was engaged by my education. She taught me to write, to read and to count still in five years.
From my childhood memories the brightest one is as the girl with short cutting hair, who flatly refused to wear dresses and was friends with boys, often teased lad–girl.
School
At the 1st of September, 1995 I was admitted at the first form of school number 1. My first teacher, Olena Klyakhina, is a person who loved the children madly. She is a teacher by vocation. She made all in order to diversify the school days of kids from the 1st to the 4th forms with the help of different matinees, open lessons and other activities.
Another very important event that occurred during the period of study in the first form was the little sister birth in March 23, 1996.
After the elementary school the Ukrainian language teacher Tamara Chernobay took our class. This remarkable teacher and a very beautiful woman led us through the school life up to the end, the school–leaving party.
To my mind, our form was one of the best in the history of the school and in addition it was very-very friendly.
There is something to remember: hikes to the nature, the Days of health, discos, parties, meetings with famous people, etc. I have communicated with a lot of classmates since leaving the 11th form.
In order to be better prepared for entering the university I attended the extra Math class. My teacher, Valentina Kremenchutskay, is not only the pros of math, but she is a great psychologist. She was the only person who believed in me, set up at all the best and was going through all my exams as their own ones.
Also, I was studying at the preliminary courses in the Kharkov Academy of Municipal Economy in Economics for the whole year, where I failed the entrance exams.
I graduated from the secondary school with a silver medal in June, 2006.
I am always grateful to my dear teachers Olena Klyakhina, Tamara Chernobay, Anna Perepelitsa, Lubov Goncharova and others.
University
So, 2006 was a decisive year in choosing of my future profession. I couldn’t choose the university and the profession for a long time. But one of the graduates of the DPI, my mother’s colleague played a very important role in my life. He strongly recommended me to enter the DPI, the electromechanical faculty. That’s 17–years old girl arrived in Donetsk.
When I was choosing my future speciality from four, existed at the faculty, the term “Electrical systems and networks” attracted me most of all, so I decided to try to enter this speciality.
To my mind my entering was due to a lucky chance, because I had time to bring my General Certificate of Secondary Education at the last day, when those, who had medals, had already passed conversation. All in all I passed all exams successfully and, hip–hip hurray, I became a student of the DNTU, the group ESaN–06. So my student life began.
I lived in hostel number 7, where a lot of good and unforgettable events took place, where I had a great number of friends. All students in my group were hardworking, smart and creative. I also got to know with Liliya Zueva who became my best friend. I adored all my teachers and I’ll always be thankful them for what they have done for me. My student life was full of classes, sessions, easy and difficult, subjects, parties, clubs and many other interesting activities.
When I was told that student’s years might be the best ones I didn’t believe. But now I can say without any hesitations that years which I had spent at the university were the merriest, the most memorable and incredible. I am sure that we will always remember these years with great nostalgia.
