Introduction

One of major components of the existence of any industry is constantly developing. And for mobile communications, this principle is especially important – on the one hand, there is great interest from customers in getting new services, and, on the other hand, a huge competition encourages operators continually make new proposals in the communications market. Moreover, cellular networks covered vast areas, and very mobile communications are so firmly entered into the everyday life that it can be realized through a huge number of services and projects not directly related to the transmission of speech.

Laid the foundation of 3G technical principles of construction, the ability to extend the functionality of mobile phones and base stations, the possibility of modifying the software centering hardware creates the preconditions for the implementation of AVL-systems based on new technical principles. For example, to determine the coordinates of the subscriber's location cellular systems can use data from existing equipment in the CDMA subsystem precise power control transmitter radios. The purpose of this course is to develop a project network 3G c positioning system for controlling moving objects (AVL-system) in Al-Abdali area of Amman (Jordan).

Purpose of the master's work is development of the project segment of the 3G/UMTS standard in Amman (Jordan) for the provision of telecommunications services of high quality multimedia.

1. Analysis of a design object

1.1 Analysis of the design object 3G network

The object of designing a 3G network in this paper is the central area of ??high population density and level of building dense Al-Abdali in Amman. The population of the district is 252 000 people. The area is 350 km2 .

Al-Abdali District is the central area of ??the city, so it is concentrated mainly in the business, residential sector (private homes and multi-storey) and the establishment of infrastructure. Such factors as the presence of large concentrations of active and business subscribers, as well as increased demand for multi-service influenced his choice of a network segment with a point for the deployment area network 3G.

In the city of Amman, fixed-line services, data transmission, ADSL-Internet provides the operator "Jordantelecom". Mobile covers almost the entire city and provides a sufficiently reliable connection, even to remote areas. Standard GSM 900/1800. Mobile services provide two main operators: "Orange", and "Jordantelecom-Amman".

Thus, the initial data for the design of the 3G network are: the area of Amman with a population of 252 000 people, a territory of 350 km 2 , which is divided into three sectors of activity: high-rise residential blocks of houses (high load) the private sector (low load) and business centers (the load varies during the day depending on the business activity of subscribers). Map of Area Al-Abdali, which will be rolled out 3G network is shown in Figure 1.1.

1.2 Definition of users categories and traffic characteristics

The main factor in the fission of subscribers on account of the category is specifics of the city. In each category, users will be provided a full range of services in different percentages. Will be made to choose the tariff package with the necessary set of services and the required speed network access that will call to provide a wide range of consumers. Thus, in Amman, there are four categories of users and their corresponding 4 tariyafnyh package:

2. Analysis of 3G radio access technology

3G mobile network generation are the result of the implementation of the concept of international mobile International Mobile Telecommunications-2000 (IMT-2000). It is based on the idea of ??creating a new generation family of mobile communications, wireless access technology that covers terrestrial cellular and satellite communications [5]. Work on the standardization of interfaces, the family of IMT-2000 is now completed and includes a composition five radio interfaces: IMT-DS (basic technology WCDMA), IMT-MC (cdma2000), IMT-TC (TD-SCDMA), IMT-SC (UWC-136), IMT-FT (DECT EP).

In Europe, the idea of ??the IMT-2000 is implemented as the concept of a universal system for mobile communications (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System, UMTS). The range of possibilities and applications of this system is extremely rich: it offers a wide range of high-quality voice, data and multimedia services. There is a new service - the provision of information services (content) on the order of the user. In addition, using the 3G network you can transfer large amounts of information at high speeds. In this case, UMTS allows you to organize full interoperability with GSM.

A two-level scheme of expanding the range is based on expanding and scrambled codes. In the downlink channel is scrambled codes are assigned separately for each network, as defined in the uplink in a unique way for each subscriber. Widening codes are orthogonal, which allows you to share them with all the hundreds of networks and thus to minimize the level of mutual constraints between subscribers within the same cell. Thus, to build 3G network in the course work was chosen as the concept of UMTS, with the basic technology of WCDMA. Figure 2.1 shows the scheme of determining the location of the subscriber by E-OTD.

3. RF-network 3G TD

The capacity of CDMA network bandwidth is limited to the direct channel, so to calculate the allowable number of subscribers. Calculate the allowable number of simultaneously working in the direct channel, in one sector of each cell BS subscriber stations n0. At the same time considered the option of the number of base stations and their relative positions (Figure 3.1), which provides the maximum possible effect of radiation on the base station receiver speakers.

Effect of interfering signals in the neighboring BS AU position on the border zone

Figure 3.1 – Effect of interfering signals in the neighboring BS AU position on the border zone

One of the important features of CDMA systems is the presence of intra-system interference. These disturbances occur in the direct channel (BS-AC) by receiving subscriber station, in addition to the useful signal from the base station "working" coverage of signals from base stations of adjacent service areas (sectors or hundreds). In the reverse channel (AS-BS) interference that occur at the receiver input of BS, which comes in addition to signals from the AU, which is a session on one channel, the signals from other speakers that are in the service area of the BS.

Summary

In the master's work is planned to develop project network 3G c positioning system for controlling moving objects (AVL-system) in Al-Abdali area of Amman (Jordan).

In Amman has been allocated four categories of users and their corresponding 4 tariff package:

In 3G network will be provided with the following network services:

There will also be calculated traffic network.
