Quick and accurate diagnosis of craniocerebral diseases and injuries, reliable prognosis of the course, complication and autcome of various cerebral pathologies play a decisive role in the choice of effective methods of treatment and in the unification of criteria for assessing their results. In this regard it is important to create information systems for max. objective assessment of a variety of criteria that characterise head injuries and cerebral diseases and the influence or the outcome of pathological process.

The creation MIS ( medical information systems) is called to decide two basic interconnected tasks : 1) improving of quality of treatment of the patient and 2) optimization of expenditures on realization of treatment. The storage of an information about the patient in a treated and ordered aspect in the computer not only accelerates the process it of searching and handling, but also allows considerably to expand application of mathematical and other methods in it use.

Unified computer information system of craniocerebral traumas and diseases databases.

The are few computertised research systems in the fields of Neurosurgery, Neurology and Neuroanaesthesiology nowadays.

This systems is invented to obtain, process and analyze information of neurosurgical patients. For this purpose personal computers with Pentium / Pentium 11 processors are being used. For effective functioning the computer needs not less than 32 MB operative memory, 1 GB disk memory and a videosystem with a capability of 600 x 800 points and True Color quality. A laser printer is also needed for printing out tomogramm samples. The system works under Windows 95/98. MS

Acces 97 from MS Office 97 is used as base supply.

The special software can include tools of support of automatic input and tomogramm from tomografy , tools of handling and analysis of these images, and also various packages of statistical handing, communication and other programs.

The information is going in a data base and is stored (kept) in 20 tables, which correspond (meet) to a logic model of a system. The interface with the user will derivate is cascade the located forms, each of which is connected to the separate table.The connection of an information on the concrete client in tables will be organized by means of key fields. The conducting table is the table a common information on the client (“Nameplate Data”). The information from this table is used by the form of a choice of the client and purely by form “Nameplate Data”.

Naturally, the survey of an information of any kind for the selected client is probable also.

The forms can contain information fields. Expert for simple information connection with a mesh in a table the information field can be computed, logically depended from other fields. Also information fields can be organized in a table for many-dimensional representation of an information of proceses.

The basic forms can contain the subforms and their gangs. Also forms can be for map for graphic and another multimedia of an information.
