"Developing CAD for desining drilling operation"
supervisor: candidate of technical science Karakozov A.

I was born on 27th of Decemder 1980 in Donetsk. My parents Nikolay A. Parfenyuk and Valentina Y. Parfenyuk are geologists. They both finished Kamets-Podolsk technical school and now continue to work as a geologists.
My sister Olga Parfenyuk was born on 13th of June 1984.

In 1987 I for the first time gone to school 123, but next year I continued my schooling in school 135 because my family moved to the new domicile. In 1989 I was rewarded with diploma for excelent schooling. While I was schooling, it's became obvious that mathematics is more easier for me to learn then other disciplines. That's why mathematics and computer scince became my favorites. For this I must thanks my teacher of mathematics Valentin Azorkin, who also was a supervisor of optional course of computer science. Due to him I became a winner of school's mathematical contest more then ones.

In 1995 I was rewarded with diploma for excelent schooling in 9th form and with diploma for taking part in school's mathematical contests. In 11th form I decided to join technical university, so I decided to enter Donetsk State Technical University - DonSTU (nowadays DonNTU).

But I didn't succeeded for the first time, and in 1998 I entered university on speciality "Technique and technology of prospecting mineral deposits". In 2000 I began studying on faculty of retraining with aim to get second speciality "Software development for automated systems".
In autumn 2002 I followed my superviser advice and entered the magistracy of DonNTU.

I decided to work on the problem of developing CAD for drilling because before I took part in developing scientific software for drilling and it seem's to me a good idea to develop a single system which can help in drilling design. Such systems already exists but only for Oil&Gas industry not for geological prospection.
