I was
born on July 27, 1982 in a small city Dokuchaevsk, and I am sincerely grateful
for that to my father Gusak Vladimir and mother Gusak Ludmila. I also have a sister, Gusak
Tatyana, who is seven years younger than me. During the period from 1986 to 1989
my parents and I lived in a settlement Maysky, which is situated beyond the polar circle
on Chukotka peninsular. Despite my young age I keep many favorable memories and impressions about those three years,
about wonderful nature and remarkable people who lived there.
In 1988 I entered Dokuchaevsk secondary school ¹5. During school years I visited different hobby groups; during a week I even
went in for ballroom dances group. I loved to draw, to ride a bicycle, to go hunting with my father, to make lots of large models of planes, ships and automobiles.
I also practiced swimming, and took part in city competitions. I also often took
part in city Olympiads on Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, History, and,
if memory does not fail me, I never returned without prize-winning places. In
upper classes I got interested in paragliding, which attracted me by feeling of freedom and lightness of soaring flight;
I gained experience mainly through "experimental" activities. Among school subjects I liked Physics, Chemistry, Geometry, Geography much, I also was greatly interested
in Astronomy. The school years were an important part of formation of my views and my maturing. I want to thank for that
to all the teachers, who had enough courage to teach me. I finished school and
received a sertificate with a distinction.
In 1999, after graduating school, I entered Donetsk Engineering Economic
College without any problems. I chose the major "Management of International Business Activity" because
it seems to be the most interesting and necessary direction in modern world economics' tendencies. The studies appeared to be extremely interesting.
I would like to express special gratitude to Anatoly Ivanovich Strelets, who
was the scientific supervisor of my bachelor's thesis. In 2003, after graduating college and receiving the diploma with distinction, I became a student of
Donetsk National Technical University.
From my University achievements I would like to mention the participation in scientific students' conferences (scientific supervisor
-
Doctor of Science, Professor Strelets A.I.), winning the third
place in 2002 in All-Ukrainian students' Olympiad on "Management in Industrial Sphere"
in group of economic high schools, and first place in 2003 in absolute championship. Also
in 2004 I took the second place in absolute championship in All-Ukrainian
students' Olympiad on "Management of International Business Activity".
The theme of my masters' thesis is "The Company's Marketing Strategy of Entering the Foreign Market". I chose this theme, because problem of creating a
successful marketing strategy is very crusial in contemporary economic situation.
