Novikov Eugen was born on 29 September 1951 in Donetsk.

In 1974 he graduated Donetsk polytechnical institute on a speciality "Electrification and automatization of mining works ( Electrification and automatization of the underground mining works)".

From 1974 tо 1982 worked in MSDI.

In 1981 he has defended a thesis on competition for a scientific degree "candidate of technical science" on a theme: "Research of efficiency of functioning and development of the high-speed equipment of the gas control for increase of safety on dangerously layers".

From 1982 tо 1985 Eugen worked as the grown-up mechanic on mine in the name Bazhanov.

Since 1985 - lecturer of the department of mining electrical engineering and automatics (МEA) of Donetsk polytechnical institute.

Since 1991 he is assistant professor of department МEA.

Teaching disciplines

He supervise students engaged on degree thesis, teach the disciplines: "Mathematical methods and models of the decision of tasks on the computer", "Systems of automatic designing", "The electric drive and electrification of mining works".

Scientific achievements

Eugen has 27 publications, teaching and methodical development, including it is received 3 copyright certificates on the invention. For successes in scientifically research work the rank "The best young inventor of Ukraine" is given.

Scientific achievements: the high-speed equipment of the gas control is introduced into manufacture; installation of the control of a condition of isolation of the shielded cables at factory Doncables is introduced.

Problematics of researches of today: computer research of systems of automatic control; development of optimum systems of automatic control; development and research of systems of the automatic control of parameters of a miner atmosphere.

Hobbies: productive leisure and travels, shooting of videofilms, motor-car enthusiast.
