There are results of searching for different key phrases in the table below, which belong to master's work. Searching was realized at March and May, 2005 with the help of six most often used search systems: Rambler, Yandex, Google, Meta, Yahoo и MSN Search.

Soon it will appear more web-sites and documentation contained search requests for statistics below. It is possible, if we take into consideration swift development of technician and network information technologies in Internet. So, statistics is valid for a period of March-April, 2005.

Results of search 21.03.2005

We can do some conclusions as a result of searching:

• Order in dependencies of found resources: Yahoo, Google, MSN Search, Rambler, Yandex, Meta;

• Yahoo stands out amongst other search systems by the biggest quantity of indexed English web-sites dedicated to electrical engineering;

• Reason why search system Meta took a last place is a youthful. Also Meta indexes almost only Ukrainian web-pages;

• There are not enough good information which can be referred to the subject of master's work. It is a dignity, on the one hand, because it means that we have insufficiently discovered theme. But it's a lack, on the other hand, because it means that we can lose some time in searching of required material.

Results of search 21.05.2005

Comparing two tables of searching results I can say that different search systems have different ways of site indexing. Systems Rambler, Yahoo, Google and Yandex increase amount of found sites for 6 millions! This is very great number for two months. On the contrary, MSN Search and Meta have reduced amount of links for 2,7 millions and 800.

This explains by different principles of searching for different systems. Those systems, which increases amount of links, renew their base for new indexed pages, those systems, which decrease sought sites, probably cleaned up "dead" links, so amount of pages decrease, but work with them became much better.
