My name is Konchenko Elena Valerievna. I was born on the first of March, 1983 in the city of Donetsk and spent all my life here.
All my childhood I lived on the Adonisova Street that has a big glade. What baby needs if he has a lot of friends and freedom?
As I remember myself I have been serious always. As my mother says I learned reading before I was five and that helped me greatly when I entered school. I think all these things had influence on my character.
My parents - Konchenko Olga Nikolaevna and Konchenko Valeriy Viktorovich entered the Charcov autoroad institute in 1982. They taught me to be honest person and to live in good conscience.
At the age of 7 I entered the school. The first part of the school life I went to the school number 28. I’ve never had any trouble learning, as I was always fond of reading and curious by nature. But I think I didn’t differ from others.
In 1995 I continued my studying in the school number 115 caused by changing of the residence. This school is specialized with foreign languages. A lot of my abilities were opened here. I began study English profoundly and French as additive language. In this time I was keen on drawing and on decorative-applied art in particular. Some of my works were exhibited. In this time I participated a lot of Olympiads of the school and district by history, biology and chemistry. Unfortunately I didn’t get any prizes/ I can consider my achievement only the first place that I got in the school Olympiad by chemistry. In this period I began study mathematics deeply.In 2000 I passed exams called “reyting” and became the student of the Donetsk National Technical University. I entered on the Ecology and Environment Protection specialty (Ecology of the Metallurgy specialization).
Why I got this choice? The choice of the specialty was made by influence of my childhood that I spent nearly to the nature and the opportunity to make more places that would be released from industry influence. So we can make better the Donetsk ecological situation. In Donetsk there are a lot of universities where the ecology is studied. But to make better environment in the industrial cities it is necessary to study the pollution processes and to look for decision of these problems in the industry. Donetsk National Technical Universityis decided these problems. So to take qualified education on chosen specialty I decided that Donetsk National Technical University is the best university for me. The most difficult choice was the choice of the faculty that is specialization. I knew that the ironworks are main environment pollutants. So I decided that the most useful experience to me is the studying of the metallurgical ecological problems and opportunity to remove them. I’ve got the bachelor excellent certification and decided to continue me education in the magistracy as it can give the opportunity to get more qualified knowledge degree.The theme of my master’s work is “The Research Resource and Energy Saving Problems at the Molten Blast-furnace Treatment”. This problem is one of the most actual in the modern metallurgy that leads to the all blast-furnace slag treatment of the slag and to the environmental improvement. My scientific advisor is the Associated Professor of the Ore-thermal and Low-waste Department Kochura Vladimir Vasilievich who is one of the leading specialist in the field of the blast-furnace industry.
On the 12th - 14th of April, 2005 I took participation in the 4th International student conference in our university and I got the Organization Committee certificatefor the best report. And in the May, 5 - 9 I participated the XI International Student conference "Economics for ecology" in Sumy. It was very useful experience. We made friends with a lot of people and got new knowledge about economics and ecology.
My plans for the nearest future are to finish magistracy well and to get a work by specialty. I don’t want to make plans for further future. But I hope to create my firm that will be connecting with ecology. I hope and I’d like to be a good specialist in the field of ecology improvement. One of the most important future plan I think is to give birth to children and to bring up them, to teach them to love our Motherland and environment.
