Biography

Русский Українська

I was born on March, 30, 1983, in Donetsk.

My childhood was serene and happy, that, in fact, was its charm. In summer I "erected" sandy castles on the bank of the river of the Severskiy Donets where I was brought to take a rest. On winter I sledged and played snowballs with my friends. So it on till the autumn 1989.

On the first of September 1989 an event happened wich changed my life for each: I went to the first form of school number 20. Besides the love to the science suddenly the love for the art aroused and I entered also music school number 4.

When I learned in the fourth form my parents bought the computer ZX Spectrum and I began to acquaint with the new kind of techniques. This acquaintance began with games and proceeded with studying BASIC built in Spectrum.

At school I showed uncommon intelligence and versatile talents. When I was in 8th form I finished music school successfully (in class "the piano"), won the yellow girdle in karate-do. I was always short of information, I read anything I could lay hands on - from science fiction by Herbert George Wells to reference books in chemistry and radio engineering. Later this bore its fruit: I took part in school and district olympiads in Chemistry, Physics, Informatics, History and Mathematics. The olympiads in Chemistry were the most successfully for me: I have always taken the first places.

When I was in the 11th form I learned the principles of the Turbo Pascal and I had the longing and the firm decision to enter the computer specialty.

I must admit my parents' merits: they helped me to acquire sufficient knowledge to have opportunity to get higher education and become what I want.

Yearning for mastering the progressive technologies and my intuitive wish to have the profession of a physician led me to the Donetsk National Technical University. My particular attention was attracted with a new (at that time) specialty "Computer systems of diagnostics" on the faculty of computer information technologies and automation. I stood the test successfully and entered the chosen specialty (the budgetary form education).

As is generally known the higher education is not only "the burden of knowledge", with which the students are supplied in plenty. I had to learn many things.

As a matters of fact the independent life has a bad effect on many students. To some extent it happened to me: I didn't pass my first exam from the very first. That was a lesson to me, after that I redoubled my efforts in my studies.

My efforts yielded good results: by the beginning of the second year my average was 4.5 and later on I endeavored to do my best to keep the result.

It wasn't easy to study in the first year. I was in straits since at our department the students weren't given the additional time for computer classes and I hadn't my own computer. I had to cooperate with people who had the computers. Naturally it took much time, but it provided me with the possibility to acquire necessary knowledge. Owing to my tardy acquaintance with the computers I logged behind badly the best students in our group in respect to computer programs. Nevertheless I managed to catch up this lag and become one of the best students in some questions.

When I was in the second year I co-operated with department "Children's and common neurology with the course of the refxotherapy of the post-graduate education of physicians" of Donetsk State Medical University. The program of training and the staged and concluding examination of neurologists and the training computer appliances in the neuromyology were the result of this co-operation.

When I was in the third year I was suggested to work as a system administrator in the centre of the practical medicine and consulting. I was provided with ample opportunity to acquire habits of work with rare specialized medical equipment, I didn't able to refuse! I like this work very much.

I appraised my progress at its true worth that's why I understood that I had little chance of entering the magistracy since poor marks which I received in junior years prejudiced my chances of success. But my wish to enter the magistracy was great! So I decided to choose for me the direction whose research would help me to achieve my object, and to study even better. I decided that processing of images was just that very direction what I needed.

At the beginning of the sixth term I began the scientific research that is the basic of my magister work. The main task was to pick out the biological cell on the microphotography. It was a rather labour-consuming work. I had to learn very many materials concerning the problems of processing of images (at that time I couldn't even imagine yet how much it was!), take the results into consideration and work out my own methods. I began my scientific activities under the direct guidance of Adamov Vladimir Grigoryevich, the candidate of technical science, the assistant of professor of the department of automatic systems of control. His experience and scientific intuition have always helped to find the solution of many problems.

Prospects of the speciality chosen by me are evident. Nowadays the medicine develops very rapidly, the up-to-date medicine is impossible without technical and programmed sophisticated complexes. The high precision and speed of processing of great quantities of information are particularly necessary in the medicine. The subsequent progress in this field of science is possible thanks to highly trained specialists. Horizons of my profession are vast indeed since there are lots of engineer and research tasks which demand their solution.

I see my professional future in working out of specialized programmed providing for the medical techniques and research. Such activities have their own specific character: in the process og working out of such a kind of the programmed providing I have to perfect myself without fail, seek and find the solution of different tasks of the description of biological objects in terms of mathematics. Later on I hope to continue my education at the university, to do my scientific and research work and to work in the field of the computer systems.
