The Abstract

I was born in Minsk on 23 of May, 1984. In two years we have moved to Krasnoarmeysk (Donetsk region). At school years I went with enthusiasm in for modern dances and psychology. I took active part in competitions in mathematics and informatics. In 2001 I left school ¹2 in Krasnoarmeysk and got a silver medal for successes in education. In the same year I entered Donetsk National Technical University to study at speciality "Computer Ecological and Economical Monitoring". During the study at the university I also learned polish language at the faculty of Technical Polish Language at DonNTU (Polski Widzial Techniczny). Thanks to its assistance I went to Poland for a summer practice in 2004. At student years I often participated in conferences, dedicated to problems in ecology, philosophy and computer monitoring. In future I hope to be engaged in scientific activity and to leave my own trace in the history of mankind:-)

Biography

My birth

I, Ivaschenko Alesya Borisovna, was born on 23 of May, 1984 in Minsk in the Institute of Mother and Child. My parents Boris Nikolaevich and Nadiegda Nikolaevna got acquainted on a motor ship "Taras Shevchenko", where my mom worked as a cook and my father was an ocean navigator.

My childhood

In my childhood I was very naughty and playful child. I was such an imp, who was always trying to make some prank. Once (I was nearly six), my mom punished me and forbade me to get from courtyard (we lived in our own house). Because our wicket squeaked and I didn’t want my mom hearing anything, so I decided not to open the wicket, but crawl under it. It was a gloomy rainy autumn day. I didn’t see anything interesting in the street so after a time I returned to the courtyard in the same way. Satisfied with having been unnoticed I entered the house. Mother really did not see anything, but she saw though me as soon as she took a look at my bright red overcoat and at wet dirt that covered the whole front of my overcoat. Òo teach me a good lesson my mom made me wash my coat by myself. Now, my mother jokes that it was the first sign of my unrestrained curiosity and aspiration to get to know the unexplored.

I liked dogs most of all and was very naive to think that someday I would be rich and build a shelter, where all stray dogs would live and none of them would be hungry. I was too young to suspect that people might also need a shelter. That is why childhood is a happy time, when we can enjoy a care-free life, believe in miracles, in indispensable realization of dreams, and can be sure that there is nothing beyond our power. Pity that childhood goes never to return and carelessness and faith in miracles go with it.

The School years

School became "the third home" for me – a position of "the second home" was firmly occupied with the House of Pioneers (now it is a House for Creative Activity and Leisure). From my childhood, the parents have implanted in me love for creative amateur performances: studies in a sport school, in a graphic art studio, taking part in hobby groups of the singing and even "Theatre of young spectator" – but interest to these occupations disappeared quickly. The passion to dances and psychology turned out to be genuine: since fifth class and till leaving school I was engaged in hobby groups of modern dance "Magic" and the circle "Young psychologist" with great enthusiasm. I was even thinking of a career in one of these hobbies. Such an intensive timetable, as I think, ensured my all-round development, confidence in myself and a skill to communicate. In those years I met my best friends. How I managed to have time for all this stuff is impossible to understand, but to this day my motto – "to have time for everything and everywhere" – does not reserve the time for boredom and sadness.

At school, the easiest subjects for me were exact sciences. I studied at physics-mathematical class. I actively participated in competitions in mathematics and informatics. Also, I took part in the life of my school and class.

In 2001, I left school ¹2 of Krasnoarmeysk and got a silver medal for successes in education.

The time of entrance exams began. I decided to enter Donetsk National Technical University. I passed the first exam in mathematics with "excellent" mark, and, taking into consideration my silver medal, I was freed from other exams. I was sure in my choice because DonNTU is time-proven.

The Years at the university

So, since the 1-st of September, 2001 DonNTU and the department of Computer Systems of Monitoring (CSM) became for me one more unofficial family.

The speciality "Computer Ecological end Economical monitoring" attracted me by its coverage of many spheres of science and technology: programming, ecology, economy, forecasting, etc. Not every department can boast of such teaching staff and its professionalism as the department of CSM disposes. Not every student can boast of such experienced, attentive and supportive teachers, as we have at our department. But I can. I am pleased that I have chosen just this speciality. Here I have understood that really "difficult exercise makes battle easy".

During my study at the university I also learned polish language at the faculty of Technical Polish Language at DonNTU (Polski Widzial Techniczny). Thanks to its assistance I went to Poland for a summer practice in 2004.

During student years I often participated in conferences, dedicated to problems in ecology, philosophy and computer monitoring.

I often had part-time jobs, trying to get financial independence. I worked as a promoter in advertising agency, as a waitress in a restaurant and as a croupier in the gambling house. Though it was not connected with my speciality, I think it was an immeasurable experience of working and contacting with people. And of course it was a proof of my ability to work in team.

In 2005, I received bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with honours. Now I continue my master studies.

My scientific supervisor is associate professor Belovodskiy Valeriy Nikolaevich. I wanted my master thesis to be connected with both mathematics and ecology. Then my supervisor helped me to choose the theme of my master work. It is "Numerical Analisys of Mathematical Models of the Weather Forecast". It involves both the study of the problems of mathematical physics and mathematical modeling of climate.

Future

Planning the nearest future is in full swing. I have plenty of purposes and tasks: to enter a postgraduate course, to go abroad for a traineeship, to find a well-paid and interesting work according to my speciality, to start my own business, to get the second higher education, etc. But it is more difficult for me to define the priority of each of these purposes. What is better to begin with? I think, all will happen as the fates decree and by concatenation of circumstances;-)

In future, I hope to be involved in scientific and (or) creative activity and to leave my own trace in the history of mankind:-)
