Abstract of Masters work

Distance Education (DE) - the process of teaching, in which students and training ("tutor") spatially separated and interact with the computer communications technology, the Internet or print media.

Development DE at this time is very actual and perspective task in Ukraine. There are many objective reasons, the main of which are noted below.
  1. DE has wide sphere application.
  2. DE optimally combines economic and educational effectiveness.
  3. DE is the most students-oriented teaching form. Teaching comes in a comfortable for student pace (he only needs a computer connected to the Internet), comfortable times and in a comfortable rate. That's why DE is very attractive for a working people.
  4. DE development promotes of international integration in education.
The purpose of master's degree work is research of methods and technologies of the distance teaching, a way of it's organization, and also development systems of distance courses, including a course "Cadastre".
All methods of distance education can be divided into two main groups :
  1. Interactive methods - are the methods, which support a two-sided dialogue between teachers and students, designed to help students to transform information of a general nature in the personal knowledge [1].
  2. Not interactive methods - are the methods, which direct to self-study course materials and resources.

Most successfully used a combination of these methods, including different variations of interactive and not interactive elements.

Consider in more detail the most widespread methods DE.

1. Teleconference.
Teleconference is one of most modern tools DE, which providing highly interactive process of communication between teachers and students.
Teleconference is the measure, which has the group communication between geographically allocated participants using teleconferencing technology [2].
Such technology frees teachers from having to interact with every student individually and allows students to organize collective work.
Last years the projects of telecommunications find more wide distribution in the educational systems of different countries in the world. Telecommunications projects are a part of the learning process in schools and universities in industrialized and developing countries. So, the British telecommunications networks Janet cover all universities and researching centers in the country's education system. Special school project "Campus 2000" (Cambridge University) covers about 2,000 schools Britain and other countries.

2. Systems of computer's video teleconference. Videoconference is the teleconference, which ensures the transmission of audio information, images and video. Videoconference use technology of videoconference connection [2].
The main feature of computer's video teleconference, which is of interest in the use of distance learning, is the possibility of interactive visual communication ...
It has ability to communicate naturally with each other, including not only the dialogue "face-to-face", but also work together on training materials, view graphics and various items which respect to the topic of conversation, stories (including those that are transmitted during teleconferencing) - all of this determine important preferences of computer's video teleconference as compared with other types of DE [3].
The firm "Data Group" introduces videoconference in DE in Ukraine. This firm introduced its product in the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
The "Trans Digital" company gives service in DE as a developer of systems of the computer's video teleconference in Ukraine.

3.E-mail. The first distance courses were built entirely on the transfer of materials and tasks on e-mail. A student doing the job, sends the results to the teacher for e-mail. This situation fit using traditionally mail in the exchange of information in distance education. But exchange event much faster if e-mail is using [4].
E-mail - is collection of software for messaging between computers. The messages may be submitted in the form of conventional texts, and in the not texts forms (programs, graphics, video, sound) [5].

4. Web - learning. World Wide Web in the future can become a global educational forum within which will be taught and studied various courses of sciences [6].
The basis of textual information on the World Wide Web (WWW) is a hypertext (HT) ...
Hypertext's technology is consisted in that the text is presented as multi-dimensional [7].
