Autobiography

“I ñharm in vain; for never again,

All keenly as my glance I bend,

Will Memory, goddess coy”

L. Carroll

The childhood

I was born on October, 17th, 1985 at 20.20 Moscow time in Donetsk’s maternity home ¹1 at the most wonderful parents in the whole world: Marina Aleksandrovna Sakhno and Vladimir Ivanovich Sakhno. After a maternity home I have appeared in the house of mine grandmamma and granddaddy, in the house, that has been filled by warm-heartiness and care, smelling granny’s pastry and mysteriously squeaking wooden floors. In 1987 the daddy as a officer was called up for military service. So I with parents came to Îrdruf. Ordruf is a small town of GDR (now East Germany). The daddy had to serve for two years. In 1990 I asked parents to send me to kindergarten. From same year I started to go in for national dances. In 1991 not only Ukraine received independence: Our small family was separated from grandmamma and granddaddy and we moved to own apartment. I was send to kindergarten “Gvozdichka” of DPI (now DonNTU).My daddy was the scientific employee in DPI. I changed national dances for ball dances. During childhood I took part in different performances. And all my family took part in preparation for these performances: daddy sewed suits, mum helped to study words. The childhood is a fireworks bright, the most light and kind, but, unfortunately, fragmentary memories for me.

School

On September, 1st, 1992 in a school uniform, with two bows I went to the 1-À class at school ¹97. «A»-Class was experimental: we constantly studied something on the accelerated methods, eternally somewhere hastened, so it was not time for bore. In autumn 1992 I continued my lessons of national dances at club «Donetskie iskorki». In 1999 I entered small, cosy Donetsk school ¹14 in physico-mathematical class. Since this year I started to take lessons of dramatic art. My favourite subjects at school were literature and mathematics. I am sincerely grateful to the school teachers of maths: Zoja Viktorovna Alshanova and Natalia Vjacheslavovna Vasilenko and teachers of the literature: Valentina Vasilevna Shramko and Neonila Ivanovna Pavlova. My compositions and reports more than once appeared in annual school almanacs. I took active participation in a public life. School days have presented me good friends and have given solid store of knowledge owing to which in the spring of 2002 by results of rating tests I entered Donetsk National Technical

University

I chose speciality «Telecommunication systems and networks», because of this direction was perspective and sounds nice ;). I want to say thanks to the teacher of higher mathematics professor Alexander Dmitrievich Petrenko for the informative and structured lectures, and to the professor Alexander Grigorevich Vorontsov for severity, democratic character, and also for inspiration on creativity in engineering (in particular in an course project).

I was leader of trade union of my group at the first course. I was a member of student's self-management of university and chairman of a medical commission of self-management of faculty during subsequent courses. I took part in “a debut of the first-year student” in 2002, in carrying out of day of faculty in 2003, in 2004 in conference, that devoted to religious studies. In 2005 I began to study German language in the specialized center at DonNTU. In 2006 I received the bachelor's degree and entered to magistracy. In March, 2007 I took a theoretical course about transmission and radio-frequency planning in GSM networks from company “Astelit”.

About master’s work

Initially the theme of mine master’s work was “Optimization of operating complexes digital units in the Public Switching Telephone Network”. But courses from company “Astelit” have inspired me to occupy mobile networks. I interested in optimization of handover (transfer of management by a call) and decided to go further networks GSM, and to investigate the given problem in networks of the third generation. Therefore the theme of my master’s works now is “Optimization of transfer of management by a call in networks of the third generation”.

About plans for the future

The nearest plans are to write good master’s work and to defence it successfully. I would like to continue my studies of German language and to search good work.
