Abstract

State of question and research task:

In coal industry, as well as in other industries of national economy, there is aspiration to mechanization of all ancillary proceedings basic and, where it is only possible, with the purpose of increase of labour, decline of unit cost, diminishment of material capacities and energy loss, improvement of labour conditions and increase of accident prevention, and also, exception of hard unskilled work.

In our time greater attention is paid to mechanization of the ancillary proceedings, because they are mechanized practically 2 times less than basic. As for ancillary proceedings in coal industry they are cleaning of facilites, water collectors, preliminary sediment collectors, mine wells and other similar objects, and pumpping muddy water from coal faces and on cleaning of different types of collectors at concentrating factories.

Unmodern cleaning of capacities trunks, water collectors and receiving wells from hard results in the submergence of the mountain making, that violates the normal rhythm of work of mines and results in the considerable expenses of material and labour resources.

Most progressive and proper are options with water stream vehicles and air-liftes to the present requirements. Using these methods of cleaning cleaning and water pumping are combined in one process. The basic equipment providing new technology cleaning is water stream or airlift. These vehicles do not have the revolved and muving parts, are easy to making, have small mass and sizes, their application eliminates the permanent presence in capacities trunks auxiliary personnel, provide high reliability of pumping in the conditions of obstructions of vehicles by the large volumes of hard and promotes labour productivity as compared to mechanical methods. These qualities at low operating costs and high serve capital provide reliable and lasting work in difficult and underground conditions. However it is necessary to mark that the applied single-stage types of options with such vehicles are characterized by the substantial failings: by the lowered pressures, suction ability and economy. From researches of conducted in M.M. Fedorova Scientific Researching Institute Mining Mechanics is set, that the indicated lacks are eliminated with the use of two-, and sometimes three-stage charts of equipment.

Application domain of airlifts:

Airlifts of different productivity are used:

1) to supply serve of active circulation silt and getting up of sewer liquid on a small height on sewage cleansing buildings;

2) to supply serve of chemical reagents on plumbing cleansing buildings;

3) to supply serve of water from mining holes.

Experience showed that along with some failures (comparatively small output-input ratio, impossibility of getting up of liquid from a small depth), airlifts have some merits which are most noticeable during exploitation on cleansing buildings:

• simplicity of device;

• absence of locomotive parts;

• maintenance of weighed particles  in an unlimited amount in the transported liquid is possible;

• the compressed air from air-pumpers serves as an energy source.
