1 Introduction

Supply of coal is huge, but we should use it reasonably and effectively. World tendencies show the uninterrupted strengthening of coal priority. This conclusion mostly applies to Ukraine where coal composes 95,4% of all organic fuel resources.

Coal is fundamental product, technical  raw material for metallurgy, chemical industry and power engineering.

Transport takes an important place in industry. Not only price depends on transport but the time that is needed to deliver goods to consumers. Uninterrupted action machines are used more and more and band conveyors take particular place among them. The most expensive and the less long-lived element of band conveyor is conveyor band that costs more than half of common conveyor direction price [1].

2 Actuality. Purpose and tasks of work

With appearance of more new and powerful conveyers there is a problem of hinge-plate of ribbon on these conveyers, mainly, especially it concerns conveyers with a rubber rope belt. Conducting assembly of ribbon on such conveyers requires application of the specialized equipment and working out the of chart of hinge-plate. The solving of this question will result in more rational selection of equipment for a hinge-plate, and will shorten the outages of enterprises and will provide the safe conduct of works.

The purpose of this work is to ground the rational chart of hinge-plate of ribbon on a conveyer with the least labour and economic expenses.

For achievement of this purpose the followings tasks are set:

1. To study the charts of assembly of conveyer belt.

2. To execute the calculation of process of motion of ribbon and rope at pulling the ribbon along all the framework.

3. To execute the calculation of process of motion of ribbon and rope at the location of winch at the top.

4. To execute the calculation of process of motion of ribbon and rope at the location of winch at the botton.

5. To execute the choice of rope for conducting of editing of ribbon for different charts.

3 Review of existent charts of hinge-plate

There are three methods of hinge-plate of ribbon: hinge-plate of new ribbon by winches, hinge-plate of new ribbon by winches and drive of conveyer, hinge-plate of new ribbon with the use of the one old (replacement of ribbon).

Roll of ribbon 1 set after the drive station on the ax of the conveyer (Fig. 1). A tension (eventual) drum is transferred to extreme front position. A clamp 2 is bastened to the free end of the ribbon connecting the ribbon by a rope 3 with an assembling winch 4, and the ribbon is unwound on lower rollers with a supply around the drums [2].

After establishing the ribbon in drive drums a clamp and a lower branch of ribbon are fastened by a drive and a winch 4 creating the preliminary pull of ribbon, which stretches on the rollers of lower branch.

The end of ribbon of lower branch is set behind the drum and the clamp and is attached to the ribbon, connecting the ribbon with an assembling winch 5. The ribbon is tightly wound around an end drum and the overhead branch of it is pulled by a winch 5 [2].

The hinge-plate of lower branch at large angles of slope (above 6°) can be carried out without an assembling winch 4. In this case after establishment of ribbon in the drive drums a clamp is fastened to its free end, uniting with fillings sleds 6, mass of which suffices for creation of preliminary pull at the drive of a conveyer. Winding off of the ribbon is in this case to the length, necessary for rounding of drive drums, can be carried out a with winch 5 with the use of by-pass block, fastened behind the drive station [2].

In case the conveyer stops the ribbon in both cases must be fastened by a clamp 7, set in front of the drive.

The hinge-plate of ribbon at a receipt of rolls to overhead (drive) part of conveyer:

a - stretching the ribbon on a lower branch by the drive of conveyer and the assembling winch; b - is stretching the ribbon on an overhead branch; c- is stretching the ribbon on a lower branch by the drive of the conveyer and fillings sleds.

 

Replacement by an old ribbon and drive of the conveyer (Fig. of 2,a). A commutable ribbon is cut at a tension drum 1, which is pushed in front extreme position, and above the frame of conveyer a bay 2 with a new ribbon is set. To the free end 3 of a new ribbon the front end of commutable ribbon 4 is connected from below, and from above is a back-end 5. A new ribbon is stretched out through a drive drum 6 after this the back-end of commutable ribbon is disconnected by periodic starting of drive of conveyer, and it is wound on the drum of the special winch 7 (Fig. of 2,b). If it is impossible to place the winch at the conveyer the free end of commutable ribbon is taken away from working place and fastened to a heavy car or a tractor. It is thus necessary to observe accordance of speeds of drive of conveyer and the car. After complete stretch of a new ribbon its ends at docked, and an old ribbon is fully removed from the conveyer (Fig. of 2,c,d) [3].
