The development of ways for prevention and localization endogenous fires in conditions of Zasyadko mine.

The urgency of a subject.

         Every year there are a lob of fires on Ukrainian mines. There are from 160 up to 200 a year. They are very dangerous for miners. Besides the development of minion industry and the increas of coal extraction directly depend on these fires.

         The biggest specific gravity belongs to underground fires and it is known that their correlation is 2:1.

         The cause of the fire is spontaneous ignition of coal. It happens in remote places whose it is difficult to use direct means and applications for fire extinguishing.

         The mine – rescue divisions are equipped with modern water, gas, powder and foamy means of fire extinguishing and localization flow ever, the analysis has show that these ways and means of fire extinguishing in remote places are unsuitable and sometimes ineffective because of zone limitation in cooling by water, low cooled ability of inert gas or the danger of gas explosion. In this connection the fires isolate the places for a long time with prepared stocks of coal for dredging and the expensive equipment.

         Therefore for successful liquidation of underground fires in such places mine rescue divisions should be equipped with the newest remote means. One of the means can be inert foam on the base of the nitrogen, excluding lacks of gaseous nitrogen and air foam. The fire extinguishing of hot liquids on a surface, in comparison with air foam has a lot of advantages. Hence, the research and the development of the remote way of fire extinguishing in remote places with the inert foam is the urgent subject.

The aim of the task

         To develop the actions to prevent and localization the fires in conditions of Zasyadko mine. To use them for the prevention and fire extinguishing at the mines.

         The idea of the task is use of modern methods and means for preventive maintenance, fire extinguishing.
