Google is the known and popular searching system. At the analysis of the got results on two searches we see that amount on the found documents on the queries grew.
Yahoo! it is searching system quite good, but at the Google found documents approximate in 2 times anymore.
Yandex are good results at the information retrieval in Russian language. The increase of the found documents happened on all queries.
Rambler is the Russian searching system. The identical increase and diminishment of amount of the found documents is approximate.
Meta is the Ukrainian searching system. The results of search concede Rambler, Yahoo, Yandex. But the amount of the found documents on the queries grew insignificantly.
By a leader in the Russian-language information retrieval google.com is leaders, on the second place – yandex.ru. It was the fully expected result, as yandex.ru is considered the most powerful Russian searching system.
On the information retrieval in English language the searching system of yahoo.com is an undoubted leader, that was not the expected result, as on a modern stage among the searching systems google.com is a world leader. It can be related to that google.com puts more hard requirements at the selection of documents on the queries.
On demand the least amount of references is given out in Ukrainian language, that is related to bad illumination of theme of master's degree work in Ukrainian language. The server of meta.ua gave the worst results. This searching system is young, such result is not surprising therefore. But here the systems of google.com and yandex.ru find far more of references on the Ukrainian-language query, than other. The reason of this phenomenon consists that on this query they give out not only Ukrainian-language documents but also Russian-language.
Analysing the got results, we will do a conclusion, that the searching systems multiply the knowledge bases and successfully develop.
