Abstract for theme: "GRID systems modeling"

Introduction

Appearing recently, but already having time to become popular the English term Grid means an environment, in which calculable options being in different places of global telecommunication network are incorporated and which is intended for implementation of the distributed applications using the resources of these options. The same as the Internet, Grid was created as technology of joint scientific researches, and was later adapted to the tasks of electronic business. Programmatic instruments for sharing of scientific resources, becoming a stimulus for development of the first Grid-environments, foresee associations of calculable resources and resources of storage for the data which require the large volumes of calculations and serious functionality analysis, and also association of experience due to joint visualization of large scientific data sets. It is assumed that similar mechanisms will act more important part and in a business-environment, at first for scientific and engineering tasks, and then and for organization of the distributed calculations in commercial applications. However much the most important role of the Grid conception in the commercial calculations consists not of that, to multiply productivity, and in that, to offer solutions of new tasks related to creation of the reliable, scaled and protected distributed systems. These tasks arise up in connection with an obvious tendency to decomposition and distributing on a network before monolithic, centralized services. Technologies and the Grid conceptions quickly type popularity, being beyond scientific associations. Open Grid Services Architecture accelerates this process, transforming technologies which are offered by Globus Toolkit, in uniform, oriented to services architecture and integrating them with standards on Web-services. Thus, OGSA represents natural evolution of the Grid technologies and Web-services.
Now interest to Grid is ever-higher practically in the entire countries of world, that is expressed in great numbers national and international projects, research works and publications on this subject. It is explained it that institutes of modern society, such as jar, service of management and monitoring, auction and production enterprises have the distributed nature and need an infrastructure allowing to organize corporate and intercorporate co-operation on the basis of the distributed programmatic applications. Experience of development of information technologies already taught producers to that it is necessary to co-operate in area of standards, instead of compete in area of realization of concrete technologies. Fortunately, that touches Grid-networks, co-operation in area of standards began in the middle of 90th. Under an aegis the noncommercial project Globus basic conceptions, protocols and interfaces, for co-operation of computer networks were developed. On today all basic players at the market of high-performance calculations are the participants of this project. The Participants Globus Project published the project of the Open Grid Services Architecture, directed on rapprochement of the Grid technologies with technologies and standards of Web-services. Morally, this direction will become main at introduction of the Grid technologies in business corporations.
In order to promote authority of Ukraine, as countries with the high level of information technologies, I consider important to continue researches in area of the GRID systems. Within the framework of the final advanced study to conduct necessary researches and tests both on a present cluster and on the structures of the national GRID system. This job performances will be accessible to a next generation of young scientists, that will allow them more effectively to move up in researches.

It is projects related to medicine, mathematics, physics, chemistry, ecology and other sciences. The best specialists of world association are engaged in Question of the GRID calculations. Mainly projects pursue the decision of global problems, but also is planned to use the GRID calculations in commercial aims, for example testing of the large system on the group of computers(GRID).
