Childhood

When I say that I was born in the utmost North, most people stare at me without understanding how I could come to be in Donetsk. Of course, there is archness in my words, because I've lived in the North for the first and a half years of my life and then we moved here. It's happened so, because my mother, resident of Donetsk, moved to cold Norilsk in her childhood to return to Donetsk having her own family and children.

I was born on January 30, 1987 in the mentioned Nordic city in the middle of the winter when the polar night covered the city, strong wind was blowing at a speed of 30 m/s and a thermometer showed minus 45 Celsius degrees. I do not know anything else interesting about my Nordic life, and even what I wrote above is my fantasy too. I only described a typical winter in Norilsk.

I came to Donetsk in April 1988. It was a spring sunny day with birds' singing and trees with young leaves. Yeah, this recollection is my fantasy too. I generally don't like making up anything about myself. I only want to make this dull narration more bright and interesting.

Kindergarten

I haven't been sent to kindergarten for a long time, because everybody knew me not to realize how to live without my parents. But sooner or later it's happened… I remember my first visit to this awful institution. My mind couldn't name what it saw, but there was one thought about it: "strangers around me!" I've never been alone with such a big amount of strange people before. I wanted to see my mother. I cried when I thought about her. I had been crying very often until I got used to it. Then I cried rarely.

Since I was a clever child, I skipped preparatory group and went to school at the age of six.

School

My school has a number 69. I always loved this number, because this is the number of MY school, where I studied, grew and got elementary experience. I went to school September 1, 1993. I was the youngest, the most quiet and unremarkable in the class. But I studied well as I was intelligent child. That's why I was disliked by classmates. Of course, nobody told it, but I felt it. And I was getting more and more unremarkable because of it.

I understood well exact and natural sciences. I mightn't be particularly talented in any of them, but after all it's not so bad. I took part in local Olympiads in most subjects.

I haven't been a company man for a long time and had no friends. The situation changed at the eighth class. I have found understanding with my classmates, becoming a company man. And I enjoy it so far.

In eleventh class I took preliminary examinations in order to enter to the DonNTU. And I've passed it after long preparation. In July, 2003 I finished school with honours.

University

My student life passed quickly. I remember my first entering to the fourth building of our university in September, 2003. I was thinking: "Will I be able to study here as well as at school?" And it turned to be possible. Of course, it was difficult. I hated my study for a long time and I was not even confident in my future as a programmer, but now I know that it's my calling. I love my speciality.

Choosing theme of the graduate work

I chose the supervisor of the scientific work on the fourth course. It was difficult, because I didn't know exactly what I wanted to research, but after all Alexander V. Samoshchenko became my supervisor of studies. Last few years I was interested in the problems of code obfuscation. I wrote a brief student's research on this theme and represented my work in the Computer Conference in December, 2007. That's why I chose such a theme of my graduate work: "Research and development of methods of the program source code obfuscation".

Future

I haven't decided yet what I want to do in future. I think it's a problem of all my classmates. I may stay at the university to continue education and become a postgraduate student. But I want to work with real commercial projects too. These are my plans for the nearest five years. This goal is hard to reach. I will aim at it.
