The abstract of the master's thesis on the theme:

«Technological supply of assembling processes in continuous production»

Scientific Leader: Candidate of Technical Science, Associate Professor Ishenko Alexander

RELEVANCE

Automation of the technological and forming operations had been the general trend of the automation of mass production till the 50-es. Then they started developing the processes for automation of so called auxiliary operations. The main feature of the technical progress of the up-to-dated machine building production is the application of automation to all the elements of production process. Change to complex automation allows getting technical and economic effect.

Assembly processes performance efficiency, products quality and their cost price depend much on their design. One of the main requirements – the product should consist of separate assembly units, each of them containing as less details as possible.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF MASTER’S THESIS

The goal is to raise quality and reduce laboriousness of assembling by improvement of the technological supplying of assembling processes at continuous operation systems.

        OBJECTIVES:

  1. Theoretical research of the factors affecting the manufacturability of assembling.
  2. Up-to-date problem of assembly ability of products analysis.
  3. Technological process modeling (topological model, informational model, matrix analysis).
  4. Development of the continuous operational system for subassembly on the basis of spindle blocks assembling at machine building factories of Donetsk and the region.
  5. Developing of improved technological process of spindle block assembling.

RESUME

  1. As the result of analysis of assembling at automated production we can point out the following:
  2. The big part of spared time for assembly works among general laboriousness of machine production and longtime duration of total assembling make the problem of automation very relevant. Solving of this problem determined not only by the tasks of improvement quality products, economy its production and labor productivity increase, but also connected with a solution of the most important social task – reduction and then complete liquidation of tiresome manual labor ranging in assembly works around 60-80%.
  3. Automation of assembling production processes by means of using continuous operations technological systems made on the basis of rotary and rotary-conveyor machines is especially effective for mass production.
  4. For common repetition work providing economical effectiveness of automated assembling – cheap, flexible, rapid adjusting assembling automatic machines made of uniform and typical parts and units should be used.
  5. At present moment assembling machines and continuous operations systems are rarely used at machine building factories. Application of continuous production lines is necessary for productivity increase of assembly operations.
