Autobiography

I was born on the 12th of December, 1987 in industrial megapolise Donetsk. However, soon my father-officer was directed to Siberia. So I’ve spent my childhood in one of the most picturesque corners of Russia – Kansk-town, surrounded by the virgin forests of the taiga with a great number of the cleanest forest lakes. Since that time love to nature has settled in my soul forever.

In Kansk from six years I went to school (I skipped child's garden – my mother devoted herself to my preschool education). After the first two years of studying I successfully passed exams and entered gymnasium. Built at the end of XVIII century, it reminded an ancient mansion of a count. All process of teaching was built quite differently from school educational system. Teachers not simply tried to give us knowledge with any ways they could, but they became our tutors in different life situations, so soon gymnasium became my second house.

I had a lot of different hobbies. Being a little child, I studied in artistic school. My early pictures still drive to admiration of connoisseurs of impressionism and primitivism. From little age I loved dancing. First it was choreography, than folk dances. In 1993 I entered a dance-college, where I was engaged with ballroom dances for six years. Perhaps, it was my favourite fascination. Almost every evening, even in severe frosts, I rode to other edge of city to submerge in the energetic rhythms of samba or to spin round with the sounds of waltz. I took part in ballroom competitions, and due to it have seen many Russian cities. Also I liked to sing, I even has entered musical school eager to learn playing the guitar.

I was good at studying languages. I never made mistakes in Russian, in spite of never learning rules of spelling – they only mixed me up. I studied English from six years, at first with a coach, then with my mother and later on my own, supported by teachers of English in all educational establishments which I studied in. Another my passion was cactaceae. I even have organized the cactaceae-club participated by the members of my family and friends. My collection of cactaceae counted about sixty species in the best times and still now there are some of them which have spent with me already about 15 years.

In 1999 I returned on Motherland, to Donetsk. Here I’ve finished 7, 8 and 9th years of high school with an excellent certificate and entered lyceum at the Donetsk National university on a biological faculty. Such choice was caused by the decision made after returning to Donetsk: to become an environmentalist. So I devoted 2 years of lyceum to preparation to enter DonNU on ecological speciality. Lyceum years were the most interesting time of my pre-university’s education, in spite of the hard studying six days a week, often sitting with books to deep night. But heavily in studies – easily in a fight! I got enormous luggage of knowledge, great number of valuable skills, and the main – I was taught to achieve the goals. The great number of pleasant reminiscences and merry adventures are related with the lyceum.

However, while studying there I understood that ecology in DonNU is not quite that speciality which I aimed for. So in 2004 I entered Donetsk National Technical University on speciality «Management ecological safety». Four years there flew in a moment filled with studying interesting disciplines and active student life.I studied my favourite subjects – chemistry and ecology – with the special pleasure. Favourite classes – spent in laboratories, passed four as one. At this time I made sure finally, that I’ve made a correct choice of the speciality. Have finished my 4th year in university in 2008 with average rating 5,0 I decided to get a Master’s degree.

My future profession I connect with doing everything depending on me for the improvement of ecological situation in the Donetsk region and I hope to do my best in it.
