Abstract

About myself:

My name is Uhimenko Iryna Urievna and I am a very optimistic, cheerful and sociable person, who feels very comfortable in any company, even in unfamiliar one. After finishing school I set myself a goal to enter a high school and to defend a diploma successfully. It will not take much to wait till the end of the fifth year but I will do my best to write the Magister research paper and then I’ll give a deep sigh and say: “Yes! My first goal in the adult life is achieved!”. Although my life is not the bed of roses but I’ll try to prove that the family of Uhimenko is strong in its spirit. So far, at the present stage of my life I have already got a Bachelor's degree diploma at the specialty “Mine industry labor safety engineer” with an average grade numbering 4,5. I have a command of Russian and Ukrainian languages having enough for reading knowledge of English. I have enough computing skills working in Microsoft office, MathCAD and Compass and AutoCAD.I also like to read books, especially melodramas.

Short biography

My childhood

At 8 o’clock in the sultry morning of the 5th of July 1987 a very little but a very long-awaited and pretty girl was born in one of maternity hospitals in Torez. It was me Uhimenko Iryna Urievna. Like many other children I had very active and joyful childhood with trees climbing, merry-go-rounds, tag, hide-and-seek and, of course, scratches and brilliant green.

My Mummy

Uhimenko Antonyna Vasilievna born on the 29th of March 1952 works at “Progress” mine as a bathhouse attendant. It is all thanks to my mother that I am a student of DonNTU. Having heard lots of stories about her studying years and working activity I have realized that higher education is of paramount importance nowadays. I’m very grateful to my mother for her kind support and instilling into me the desire for knowledge.

Kindergarten

It was in 1989 when my mother brought me to the nursery school named “Radyga”. I, being a calm child, didn’t make kindergarten teachers a lot of troubles. But ones I felt seriously ill and my caring mother brought me home at ones and has never let me to the kindergarten again. My early childhood has very soon finished, and it was the time to go to school.

My school

In 1914 a very little girl with two big bows on her head and pressed uniform, with white apron and a backpack stepped over the threshold of her favorite school ¹18. They say: “Wonderful school years”. For me they were really such. Being a pupil of a primary school, I tried my best to study, used to have good reading skills and used to be praised by my first teacher Lozinskaya Zoya Nikolaevna. Since the 5th form I took up dancing. In the school dancing circle I caught on at once all the new movements in any new dance. At the lessons of Physical Training I was noticed by my teacher for being capable of great endurance in long-distance races. That’s why I took part in competitions for our school. I have never won the 1st place, but the second and the third I used to take quite often.

Since the 8th form my class has gained great popularity at school. Every week we used to figure out different pranks – so, it was never boring together. Our supervising teacher Nosik Ludmyla Vasilievna being a real “class mother” has always protected us. Many thanks for that. But like all the good things, this good and very cheerful time was coming to its end and then the day came to receive the school-leaving certificate and to enter a high school. For a long time at the 11th form I have been confused by the question of my future occupation, since I couldn’t decide what I really needed and wanted. Due to that time family circumstances I made up my mind to enter DonNTU, where I passed an interview and was accepted as a student.

Kindergarten

Once the very important day came, my first day at the university where I was not a pupil anymore, but a student. That day meant a lot to me, and I was extremely excited since I was to meet my group mates and become familiar with the student life organization! No doubt, I was overcome with pride.

The first and the second year with countless amount of comprehensive disciplines gave way to the third, more interesting and more responsible, since I, studying special subjects, have begun to master my future profession. The summer practical training has even increased my interest in future profession, since I had an opportunity to see the mine with my own eyes and everything we have been told about for so many years.

The 4 year flew by. I passed my state exams and decided to enter the magistracy. Now I’m busy writing Magister research paper on the topic “Cul-de-sac ventilation in normal and emergency modes”, supervised by Tchystuhin V.V.

Plans for the Future

In the nearest future I plan, first and foremost successfully defend Magister research paper and receive a diploma. After graduating from university I’d like to have a little rest and then to find a decent and well-payed job, of course. And then let it run its own course.
