BIOGRAPHY

I was born in one of the beautiful fall months, on October 19, 1985. I am the third and the youngest child in our family. I have an older brother and sister. My father is Peter Ivanovich Silchenko and my mother, Lyubov Nikolayevna Silchenko. My father is an engineer-electrician and my mother is an erector. The memories of that period of my life are very vague and fragmentary. I didn’t go to kindergarten, so I spent my childhood at home. However, it wasn’t a boring time for me. I was an active child. I liked animals very much. I spent almost all my life with parents or with my brother and sister who played with me, read books to me and entertained me as much as they could. In general, my childhood was a happy time which I spent amidst loving people.
School
In 1991 I was accepted to the first grade of school 25 located in Lenin district of Donetsk city. I couldn’t say that it was hard to study, however I had never been an”A” student. Most of the time I got “A” and “B” grades. Several times I took part in student contests, but never won. In the fifth grade I applied to an art studio “Dzherelo” at our local youth cultural center. My parents didn’t object, because I liked to paint since I was a small child, and I did it quite well. Since I started to learn painting professionally, I spent a lot of time at the studio. We had a marvelous instructor, Yelizaveta Gennadievna Temper. Under her supervision I was acquainted with different kinds of creative work: painting, modeling, batic, etc. Our group was very amicable, we often went together to see different exhibitions, took part in some of them, spent lots of time together. Sometimes it was hard to match together my studies at the studio and in school, but it wasn’t a big problem for me. I liked it very mach to develop my skills of creativity. Some documents testify about my achievements in the aria of arts: - a diploma for taking part in an international festival of children’s arts “Underwater Fantasies” (2000); - a certificate for winning third place in a competition by participating in arts exhibition “Painting of Donetsk Children” (2000); - a diploma for taking part in festival “The Small Monmartre of Bitola” (Macedonia, 2002). I was studying at the studio until 2001. As the result of my art education I acquired an ability to see the beauty of the nature, which surrounds us. It is sometimes hard to see it in our everyday life. I have always been painting pictures after I finished the school. By the time I finished the art studio, I entered the 9th grade of the school and began to think about my future job. I didn’t want to concentrate all my life around painting, although I liked it very much. I decided to follow another way, and in spring 2000 I applied to Donetsk Electrometallurgical technical school to gain a specialization of “Ecology and Nature Protection”. After I successfully passed final exams at public school and entrance exams in a technical school, I was admitted as a first year student Donetsk Electrometallurgical technical school.
Donetsk Electrometallurgical technical school
My education at DEMTS started in 2000. I liked the chosen specialization and studied eagerly regardless of any difficulties. Soon my name was in the list of honored students. During my years of studying at technical school I got opportunities to become acquainted with special features of metallurgy, and especially with those ecological problems that come as a consequence of it. Preproduction practice at Donetsk metallurgical factory provided an opportunity to get better acquainted with the ecological aspect that come in the process at work. Some outstanding teachers who taught me at that time were Lyudmila Yuryevna Vladimirova, Lyubov Fyodorovna Movchan, Victor Adamovich Sevryuk. I took part in the cultural life of the technical school mostly as speculator, which suited me quite well. In 2004 I successfully finished school and got a diploma with honor. At the same year I took entrance exams at Donetsk national technical university to gain Bachelor’s Degree in “Ecology and Nature Protection”. My choice of that specialty wasn’t accidental. I wanted to continue to study and increase my level of education in that area.
Donetsk national technical university
In 2004 I was enrolled as a first year student at the university to continue mastering my specialty. In that year a new period of my life started. During my time of studying at the university many different events, both happy and sad, took place in my life. I got new acquaintances and friends there. I was happy to have new teachers. Each of them contributed something new in how I understood my specialty and those problems which the specialist faced in that area. In 2008 I successfully passed my Final exams and got a Bachelor’s Degree. At the same year I was enrolled as a student to Donetsk national technical university to gain my Master’s Degree and I started writing my thesis under the supervision of Vladimir Vasilyevich Kochura.
Plans for Future
First of all, I would like to successfully finish the university and defend my thesis. In future I want to find a job according to my specialty, which would allow me to grow professionally and provide an opportunity to put my skills in practice. Since I like traveling very much, I would like to go abroad to see how other nations live and get acquainted with their culture. I have many plans for future and I think I can endlessly write about them…To make it simple, I think that the most correct definition of my plans for future would be the following words: I would like to live my life in such a way so that I would never regret one single day of it…
