Summary of research and developments


The peculiarity of the process of rolling in a multilane rental stands – side vnekontaktnye zone. Introduction


RThe energy cost, raw material, materials in the structure of the forming of prime cost, all these stuff play the large role in the work of enterprises under the conditions of the market economy. And all these advance the task of the economical using of these resources to the foreground. In metallurgy the large part of the withdrawals appears at the completing stage namely in the rolling production where the prime cost of metal is the highest. In Ukraine for the production of heavy-gauge steel the problem of reduction in the metal wastes and other technical and economic indices is very urgent by the way of possible modernization and reconstruction of acting plate mills(PM) , by the way of development of the new technologies of rolling. One of the basic measure of effectiveness production of the sheets is the specific consumption of the metal which depends on several factors. The metal wastes with the lateral and end trimmings achieve the special influence on the specific consumption of metal which depend on the form of the obtained reelings. The conducted investigations in Donetsk Institute of ferrous metallurgy showed that in average 85% of wastes and expenditures of metal are lateral and end trimmings comprises. Therefore, the main task of sheet-rolling production is searches and the development of the new ways of reduction in the expenditures for trimmings.

The urgency of theme


This work is directed on the study of the metal-saved method of rolling thick sheets which is based on the rolling of slab with the profile of its wide faces by the way of crossing of the axes of the working shafts of breakdown stand. The results of investigation of the basic action parameters of process on the form of sheet in the plan and the technical and economic estimation of rolling the thick sheets are given in this work.

The scientific importance of the work


Experimentally the process of the distortion of reeling with the rolling in the lattice-type shafts of breakdown stand and also the influence of the lattice-type working shafts in the cross section of metal in all sections of reeling has been studied. The critical parameters of giving a ride process are determined.

Practical value


The mathematical model of distortion after passages and also the algorithms of the regulation of the form of reelings in the plan after splitting of width have been developed. The parameters of distortion with the rolling with the uneven reduction of the wide faces of reelings are investigated by the way of the crossing of shafts.
