Brief biography:

Childhood

I, Postolenko Vitaliy Olegovich, was born on the 23^rd of February 1988 in a student family in Makeyevka, Donetsk Region. I have no siblings. Father, Postolenko Oleg Vladimirovich, died at the coal mine “Ordzhonikidze” in 1993. Mother, Lukyanova Viktoriya Viktorovna, is a housewife. I was living in Donetsk till i was 6 years old and going to the kindergarten “Solnyshko” (“Sun”). But after father’s death, mother and I moved to Makeyevka, where I entered Secondary School 37 (1-G form) on the 1^st of September 1995.

School

At school up to the 5^th form I didn’t differ much. This period of my life is marked by acquiring friends, with whom I began in touch till the present time. I have begun getting only excellent marks in the 5^th form. I took part in competitions on Information Science and Ukrainian Language. I was elected a President of the School for the period from the 10^th form till my graduation. Having got this status, my school life began more many-sided and interesting. This experience was extremely invaluable for me because owing to this I was able to cultivate such qualities as responsibility, prudence, sociability, managerial abilities. I graduated from school in 2005 and was awarded with Gold medal. Since the 9^th form I was preparing hard for the ratings to Donetsk National Technical University, Faculty of Computer Information Technologies and Automation, on the Speciality – Information Management Systems and Technologies, but, unfortunately, I got only 42 points out of 60, which didn’t make it possible to study on the government-financed basis. Having come to grief, I handed in my documents and was accepted to the Geotechnologies and Production Management Faculty, Speciality – Ecology of Mining Technologies.

University

I entered Donetsk National Technical University in 2005. It was stressful for me to start studying at the University because the system of education there differed from the school system, I mean a great amount of information I had to study in a short period of time and, of course, the first exams. But a human being is such a creature who is able to change himself, get over the difficulty, go ahead with confidence and always achieve his goal. I can say with confidence that years at university were the best years in my life. In 2009 I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with honours, Speciality – Ecologist of Mining Technologies, and in the same year I entered the MA course to improve my knowledge and skills in this field. My scientific advisor, professor, candidate of technical sciences – Artamonov Vladimir Nikolayevich, is both an outstanding teacher and a great person. He can easily explain any disputable question. With such scientific adviser my scientific research undoubtedly and unreservedly will make an appreciable contribution to the development of this area in our University and will be a practical helper to the followers. Studying at the 4^th year, I entered and began studying at Donetsk Branch of International University of Finances, Speciality – “Finances”, simultaneously with the main speciality.

Professional and creative plans for the nearest future

I’m planing to obtain a Master’s Degree in Donetsk National Technical University with honours and to be certified as a specialist of Finances, and then to set up my own business, house, family…, but it will be later.
