AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Childhood

Before I start speaking about my biography, let me introduce myself. My name is Olga Arshinova.

My parents, planning the child, wanted the girl very much. In the hospital the doctor told my parents, that they would have a boy. My parents had thought up a name to the boy. But the doctor made a mistake and the girl was born.

On May, 15, 1988 at 8:30 p.m. in the Sumy region, Nedrigaylov district was born a girl with bright blue eyes and long curly hair. It was me. My parents were the students of a 5 course of the university.

About two weeks my parents and I lived at a grandmother in Nedrigaylov, and then we moved to the town of Novogrodovka Donetsk region, where my dad’s parents lived. According to biological clock I was an awl, I didn’t want to sleep at nights. But sleepless nights of my parents lasted, before one year. In a year my dad graduated the university and was sent to work in Dimitrov town. Now my dad, Alexander Anatolievich, is an engineer at “Krasnolimanskaya” mine and my mother, Valentina Mihaylovna, works as a teacher of English at school. My family lives in Dimitrov town. Dimitrov is my native town.

In January, 1990 my parents, as young specialists, got a three-room apartment in Dimitrov town. In the same town, when I was 2 years old, I went to the nursery school of “Chayka”. I was an obedient, curious and quiet child. I remember plenty of holidays in the nursery school, where we sang, danced, told funny stories. Dances were my hobby. I am very thankful to the tutor of a senior group, Antonina Anopko, which taught me a lot of useful things.

First I visited the Black sea with my parents in the town of Sochi, when I was 3 years old. In spite of my little age, I remember much about our rest. Since that time every year in summer I have a rest in the Crimea. I had a happy and carefree childhood.

School and Lyceum

In 1995 I went to the secondary school # 10 in Dimitrov. Being in a nursery, I wanted to go to school as quicker as possible. The first impressions did not let me down. I remember my first day at school very well. I was lucky with the first teacher, Ann Gopko. She was very kind and sensitive woman which taught me a lot of great things. Unfortunately, she is not alive now.

I devoted much time to studies. I passed from class to class with certificates of good work and conduct. In senior classes I studied Mathematics deeply. My favourite subjects were Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Biology, Ukrainian and English languages.

When I was 15 during autumn vacations I had a chance to visit the city of Kiev and I rested in “Pushcha Voditsa”. It was my first visit to the capital of Ukraine. I saw many places of interest: churches, museums, monuments and a circus. I made an excursion around the city. I was greatly impressed.

From the 5 to 9 form I was fond of dancing and trained in the center of development of children and young people “Brigantina”, where Oksana Bordyug was my teacher. Our collective took part in many contests and competitions in Dimitrov and in Donetsk region. It was a very bright period of my life. Every training was a rest from studies for me. It was a very good collective with reliable friends. Dance practice helped me to become more independent, well-organized, disciplined and industrious.

I finished the ninth form with an excellent marks and with many diplomas for the good achievements in Mathematics and Ukrainian. I didn’t know, who I wanted to become, when I would grow. In different periods of my life my desires had been changing.

My dream was to enter the lyceum “Nadezhda”. In summer after finishing the 9 form I passed exams and entered the technical group of the lyceum, where Mathematics, Technical Drawing and Physics were studied deeply.

Kishkan Alexander, which became a good friend for me, was my class leader. Studies in the lyceum was bright, interesting, merry and exciting period in the life. A lyceum was different from school. The first three months of study were heavy because of the large loading. Little by little I used to get up early, to go to Krasnoarmeysk and study 6 days a week having 6 lessons. Loading was large, but it worth it.

Besides studies in a lyceum there was the saturated cultural life. On holidays we had entertainments, excursions and had a good time. In the lyceum there were a lot of traditions: journeys to Mertsalovskiy forest in September, celebration the day of the lyceum, holding scientific conferences, organization meetings with school leavers, hikes to the Crimea and journeys on the Blue lakes. The rest was not limited only by journeys in Ukraine, for the students of the lyceum. Journeys were organized to different countries of Europe, to Turkey, Egypt.

In the lyceum I participated in many contests and competitions, took prizes. Pedagogical collective of the lyceum enraptured me. I am very thankful to all teachers, and especially to the teacher of Mathematics, Zhuk Nataliya for everything they had done for me.

I finished the lyceum “Nadezhda” with the gold medal. Two years passed quickly and it was the time to choose the occupation. At the end of the 11-th form I decided, who I wanted to be.

University

I liked the Donetsk National Technical University. My father graduated from this university and I wanted to get engineering profession too. Among all specialities of faculty CITA, most of all I liked the Telecommunication Systems and Networks for its actuality and quickly developing sphere of telecommunications. I successfully passed over rating and in May, 2005 I already knew, that I was a student of the budget department of the first course DonNTU. The impressions from studies were very pleasant, I got acquainted with many students and many fellows from the hostel. The first course was saturated and interesting. I arrived to Donetsk and had no idea about the city, that’s why it was sometimes difficult to orient in the city very quickly. Days passed quickly and carelessly from one side, and simultaneously from the other side it was difficult to join the educational process. It was unusually, that nobody controlled me during studies and self-discipline was needed. On the first session my knees trembled and I felt fear, but next sessions had already passed more easily. In the second course for the excellent study, I received a scholarship from the company's Life. The intensive teaching alternated with noisy student’s parties.

In 2009 I got the diploma of bachelor with a first-class honours degree. My aim was to enter the magistrates. According to the results of state examinations I continued teaching in the magistrates. In this period of my life my attitude toward teaching was more serious. The important and needed for me and my subsequent life subjects were on the first plan. We combined studies and leasure.

The theme of my Master's Degree work is “The Investigation of the Dynamics Transport Telecommunication Networks with Difficult Topology Using Technologies WDM (DWDM)”. The theme appeared after the discussion with the Scientific Supervisor the modern problems and tasks in the sphere of telecommunications. It was very interesting for me to know about transport networks more. Ph.D.(in Engineering), Assistant Professor, the Head of the Department AT Bessarab Vladimir is my Scientific Supervisor. He can help me in any difficult situation. He is understanding and tolerant teacher.

Plans for the Future

In the nearest future I plan writing of Master's Degree work and get the diploma of Master's Degree. Of course, I want to find a good job which will be interesting, bring positive emotions, where I will be able to realize myself and become a good specialist in the sphere of telecommunication networks and as a personality.

I like to dream, to build plans and I want my life to be happy and full of positive emotions! I want to create a family, to have children. To combine work and family life is not an easy thing. I must work hard to reach this purpose but I am ready...
