Autobiography

Childhood

I was born in Vinnitsa, Ukraine on October 26, 1987. At that time my mother worked as an engineer and my father made furniture in his workshop at home. I was a very nice and obedient boy. And a very serious-looking! I had yellow curls hanging on my big head and was a very funny little "professor". I made my parents and relatives smile and feel joy each time they looked at me. All the time I was holding a book in my hands. As a result I learned to read before entering school. Mom says nobody forced me to read and I have learnt almost without outside assistance. Being a very curious child, I examined structure of all toys and devises I saw. In most cases I assembled this stuff back and it worked! In most cases...

In general I don't remember much of my childhood. Just a few fragments.

Summary: the beginning of my life on the Earth, nice and obedient little boy, ready for school.

Primary & Secondary School

Here more knowledge began entering my head. And I was willing to let it in. I absorbed this knowledge like a sponge. Once, while giving a lesson, my physics teacher sad, "Just look at Vadim, interest is shining in his eyes!". I was really interested, very curious pupil. And even more curious now! Really, the more I know the more curious I become. Because while expanding, my cognition boundaries touch bigger part of the unknown.

But let's come back to the "school" theme. While studying at school, every year (except 9th) I got letter of commendation for progress in studying. More, I participated in some competitions and had good results.

I learnt in three schools in three cities (Vinnitsa, Dokuchaevsk and Donetsk) and in each school I was a model pupil.

Summary: an excellent pupil, good behavior

On the last year at school my parents bought me a computer (I played some computer games before but I did't have my own one). And after my school graduate exams I began learning how to use it. I very liked it! I learn how to program, edit photos and images, make sketches, edit sound and video etc. Then I entered university.

University

The beginning of what I can call "development". The thing is that, while studying at school, I didn't think much about the purpose of my study. I was a very good pupil, yes. But...

At university I began thinking. And not only about the purpose. Some new questions came into my head. "Why?", "How will it result?", "How to do it better?". The university forced me to solve problems, search answers. It forced me to develop creativity. For instance, to make a course project the brain has to "move", to CREATE. It's not enough to repeat someone's words (a book, a teacher etc.), you need to search for solution. It's difficult but very useful. You can't progress by repeating, you need to think, to search, to create.

Why have I chosen the specialization of an automation engineer and entered Donetsk National Technical University? Well, one good person advised me to do so. And turned out that his advice is really good! I like studying here. I like my profession. "Automatic Control of Technological Processes" gives knowledge in wide ranges; it allows me to look at problems from many directions and to solve them correctly. The main thing I like in my profession is that it allows me to use knowledge it gives in the real world. It is really important because there are very "intelligent" persons who know very much. But they can't MAKE anything! The automation engineer must KNOW and be able to MAKE. This is not enough only to know, because if after drawing something you begin to materialize it, new types of mistakes appear. "Practical" mistakes. You know, I even like solving such problems. And this is what is my individual work devoted to (every student have to do individual work – his own project on master's portal). You can link to my individual work and see what I have made. It's a simple device for automation, which I use at home.

Summary: University is a new step in my life. Here I began to think... Life becomes more interesting and complicated

Plans for the future

All we live for something. Every man has a goal. Someone sees his goal and approaches to it, someone doesn't know what his goal is and all his life asks others what to do.

It's time for me to begin creating my successful future. Well, first I must determine a goal. Then I will think about it permanently and do all my best to achieve the goal.

My goal: development of all my abilities and senses (intuition first of all), happy and abundant life.

How will I achieve my goal? I think that the first thing I have to do is to believe. Because man becomes what he thinks about. So first of all I create strong believe, to visualize myself living in happiness and abundance. Second, in order to achieve my goal I must have proper knowledge, beliefs and strong will. So now I need to work for strengthening my beliefs and training my will. And knowledge of course.

Too abstract? OK. Current problems I want to solve:

  • to receive a master's degree
  • to find a good job
  • to develop myself in order to achieve my goal

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble

To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best

And to be one of the best
