AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Childhood

I was born on the evening of January 19, 1989 at 19:40 in the city of Donetsk. I think it was my first "act", which surprised the parents. Don’t imagine anything bad, just they were waiting for the birth of a boy who ought to be called Michael or Andrey. But I came.

A little closer to my parents. Mom – Anna H. Egorova and Dad – Sergei V. Egorov. They met between the famous walls of the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute (PDI), which is now called Donetsk National Technical University. Both studied at the specialty "Computer Technology" (CT). Their friendly relations with fellow student, which are continuing for today, heat my heart.

Thus a girl was born, which was after a few thinking called Helen. That’s me - Elena Egorova. My first memories begin at the age of 3 years, rather fragmentary, but reliable. I didn’t go to a kindergarten, but I can confidently say that I had a very rich childhood. And I still keep the precious memories of merry pranks and fantasies. Another great value remains with me from childhood - a friendship which I cherish and proud of. My best friend is from those times. And I realize that this friendship is the most reliable, it’s tested by time.

School

I don’t know what moved my parents in making this decision, but I went to school in 5 years. It was a private lyceum, where children study from the age of 6, which is titled "Contemporary". When I was 7 years old, parents transferred me to the secondary school ¹ 54 which is located near our home. Since I was only 7 years old, I went to the second grade again, though by the level of knowledge I could be in third grade.

In 1996 my sister was born – Maria. She also seems to prove that she was born with "male character”. But we have rather different - as different sides of one phenomenon. Although, of course, we have seen it noticeably later.

In school I always was a good student. Only because of pranks I often received admonitions. I attended a lot of different art-sections, especially a lot of dancing - from the choreography to the sport. And I was making progress in that sphere. But since 1998, I threw all sections for Children Art School ¹1, which I graduated with honors in 2002. I was always very attracted to creativity and the visual arts.

I wanted to go further along the path of creativity very much, but when it came time to choose, I refused of that idea because of two reasons. First, I wanted to get higher education, but there’s no any art university in Donetsk (my parents didn’t want to send me in another city for education). The second reason – I haven’t seen any artist in my environment and didn’t imagine how may happen the life of an artist. And so, as the training and ability allows, I had opted for more practical and "high-tech" ways of learning. Reason struggled with the romance of nature.

I was interested in many disciplines. I participated in various district and municipal contests. Therefore, the spectrum of selection of high school was wide. I stopped at the Donetsk National Technical University, because my parents graduated it (I'm proud of them!) and the reputation of this university was good.

Before proceeding the describe of next phase, I should mention those teachers who have left the best memories and most reliable knowledge, which stood me up to nowadays - Galina I. Pashkevich (Physics), Albina I. Borema (English), Larissa P. Grineva (Mathematics), Anna G. Tsimailo (Russian), Vladimir V. Bauer (Painting, Graphics in the Art School).

I graduated school in 2005 with a gold medal and the only clear desire - to be a student of a DonNTU.

University

I admitted to the Donetsk National Technical University, specialty “Personnel Management and Labor Economics". I gradually realized that made a good choice and satisfied that it is a very "strong" university with a good workout and the level of training. I love my profession and the department, learning brings me pleasure (in the future, I hope, it also will bring practical results). It’s impossible not to note the fact of high professionalism and dedication of all teachers of the department. And, of course, I like my group.

Now, when I look back at the very beginning of the path in DonNTU, I look at myself - and I see another person. After these years, I realize that I’ve changed very much. Just see how are changed my group mates. Besides all the knowledge and skills, which presents the university, it teaches us to be people. It teaches us that the more you know, the greater the prospects for the new knowledge you get. It's hard to realize that soon we will leave these walls. But I think that everything what happens is happens for the better. It will be just the next phase, which is also, in turn, will teach me something and open up new horizons...

Plans for future

Of course, the first line of plans for the future lies in successful defense of master's work and receiving a diploma, as a result of my studying at university. Next, I’ll seek a job that will provide opportunities for self-realization and, at the same time, will guarantee a decent wage. I want to apply my inclinations to the creativity, perhaps in the innovation sphere. I am also attracted of the possibility of communicating with people and psychoanalysis, which promotes my specialty. Therefore, in future I don’t exclude the possibility of finding work in the field of public relations management. But the main range of the search will still be based around the HR-management.

Besides, I think life always finds a way to surprise. That’s why I try to be flexible.

The only thing - I am convinced that we are building the future with our own hands. So to get something, you must have a strong desire to realize your plans and try to make it strongly…
