About myself
The average markduring my education period was 5.0. I speak Russian and Ukrainian freely. My proficiency in English is enough for reading and correspondence. I have an experience in mapping, documentation and linking geological objects to the topographical plan; also have experience in work with OS Windows, MS Word 2003, Exñel 2003, Surfer 8, SPSS 15.0 programs; have basic knowledge of programming in Pascal. My hobbies are cycling, aerobics, hiking, skiing and swimming.
Brief biography:
Childhood
My name is Rogachenko Alexandra Mikhajlovna. I was born on September 14th, 1988 in Donetsk (Ukraine).
My father, Rogachenko Michael Evgenievich, 1961, works as a leading engineer on TRC "Ukraine", TRC "Donbass" and TRC "Ukraine-football".
My mother, Rogachenko Svetlana Alekseevna, 1962, is the process engineer at JSC "Topaz".
My sister, Rogachenko Darya Mihajlovna, 1986, graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the Donetsk National University, and now she works at JSC "Topaz" as an acquisition worker.
When I was 4, I attended the rhythmic gymnastics group in a Palace of Youth "Junost’" from 1992 to 1993. Then I visited the lessons of callisthenics at the Palace of Sports "Spartak" in 1993-1994. In 1994 I took the third place in competitions of children's youthful sports school of callisthenics. In 1994 parents enrolled me in the folk dance ensemble "Radost’", which is in the Gorkys’ palace. I had been dancing for 4 years there.
Schooldays
In 1995 I entered the school ¹ 19 in Donetsk. In my schoolyears I took an active part in sports competitions, musical performances, out-of-school hours. More than once I was a winner of the school competitions in Chemistry, Mathematics, Russian language. Favourite lessons were Music, Physical Education and Chemistry.
In 2000 I was enlisted in Children's musical school ¹ 2 in the piano class. I was a member of concert choir and ensemble, which performed in various palaces of culture and in the Philharmonic Society. In 2003 I attended training courses of the six-string guitar playing, where I has mastered the basics of the playing this wonderful musical instrument. Since thirteen years I am engaged in cycling.
University
In 2005 I became a student of the Donetsk National Technical University, Geological Faculty. During the five-year training here I’m able to mark out structural geology, mineralogy, reconnaissance and prospecting of mineral resources as my favourite disciplines.
My scientific activity at the university is presented by performances at conferences and schools-seminars.
In March, 2008 I participated in the Ukrainian science-practical student conference "Geographical education and national self-consciousness: topical problems of their forming" with the report "Scientific research of ancient copper mines in Donbass", which took place in the Donetsk Institute of Social Education. The article was published in the collection of theses of conference. There was also placed the article "Gold deposits of the Nagol’ny Ridge" coauthored with Loseva O.V.
In April 2008 I took part in the Fourteenth scientific student school called "Metallogeny of Ancient and Modern Oceans-2008. Ore-bearing complexes and ore formations", which was held in the city of Miass, Chelyabinsk region, Russia. The publication of this conference contains two articles under my authorship: "Geological and mineralogical researches of ancient copper mines in Donbass" and "About the gold-bearing of the zones of large linear folds in the Nagol’ny Ridge" (co-authored with Loseva O.V.). I got the diploma for good performance at this conference.
In summer of 2008 I passed practice in Russia, in the city of Miass, Chelyabinsk Region, in the Institute of Mineralogy of the Ural branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. There I was a member of the geoarchaeological expedition.
In September, 2009 I participated in the International Scientific School "Science about the Earth", held in Odessa.
In October, 2009 I tried my abilities in the scholarship program "Zavtra.UA," Ukraine's first nationwide program to support talented youth, and went for a second round. "Zavtra.UA" is a part of the complex projects of Victor Pinchuk Foundation in the field of education and science.
In March, 2009 I took part in the Ukrainian Student Olympiad 2008/2009 academic years on the discipline of "Geology", which was passing in Ivano-Frankovsk.
In April, 2010 I was a participant of the Second All-Ukrainian Youth Conference-School "The modern problems of geological sciences", held in Kiev, with a report on the theme "Improvement of the technology of exploration and mining flux limestone deposits".
In the end of April, 2010 I took part in the Ukrainian Student Olympiad 2009/2010 academic years on a subject "Geology" and ranked third in the competition tasks on structural geology.
In autumn, 2007 I was a member of the DonNTU sports section of rock climbing.
From 2007 to 2008 I was a participant of the dance ensemble of Choreographic Miniatures "Visavi".
From 2008 to 2009 I was engaged in aerobics at sports school ¹ 45.
Recently I became an active participant of the sports-dancing club "Zodiac".
Professional plans for the near future
After the receiving the Master’s Degree I plan to continue development of the scientific activity at the Ukrainian Research and Design Institute of Mining Geology, Geomechanics and Mine Surveying.
