Resume

The average grade during my studies is 4.74. I am fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. I can read in English with no difficulty. I think I am an ambitious, responsible and positive person. I am fond of music, sports, embroidery and cookery.

Short biography

My name is Salkova Anna. I was born on 27 June 1988 in a small mining town of Gornyak in Donetsk region. I am very thankful to my parents for giving me the most precious thing, which is my life. I was active, naughty and joyful as a child. I was brought up by my parents and also grandparents to be responsible and independent. My father’s name is Tikhonenko Yuriy. He was born in 1960. He is temporary unemployed (he is a retired miner, in fact). My mother’s name is Tikhonenko Galina. She was born in 1956. She works as a taxi operator.

I spent my childhood in kindergarten "Topolyok" where I met my first friends. My most lively recollections are related to the children’s matinees and festivals, while we were like in a fairyland performing various fairy characters.

My school years

In 1994 I went to the reception class in the kindergarten where we studied before lunchtime and then had a rest and played. In 1995 I went to school ¹ 17 in Gornyak. I have to admit that I felt scared at first. My first teacher was called Irina Ivanovna Yerlova. I am very thankful to her for everything that she taught me, which was very useful in my later life. I had lots of hobbies at school so I attended different clubs like a drawing one, a knitting one, a woodcarving one. The most lively school recollections are about going camping and cooking porridge on a campfire. In my high school I studied law as well as other subjects. Once, when I was in my tenth year, I went to Donetsk Drama Theatre with my classmates. It was an unforgettable experience. My school years passed very quickly but left very pleasant recollections. My special thanks are to L. A. Histeva, T.G. Bulgakova, G. I. Karasha for everything they taught me.

My university years

In 2005 I got a place at Donetsk National Technical University. I started a course in Safety of Labour Protection at Geotechnology and Enterprise Management Faculty. I chose the speciality because it is connected with people’s life and safety. During my studies I had no difficulty with some of the subjects but I had to work hard on the other ones. While I was having my first working practice, we went down a shaft, such an experience made me realize how difficult the miners’ work is. My undergraduate’s years passed very quickly as well. They have been the most joyful and unforgettable years in my life. In 2009 I passed my exams and got a Bachelor’s degree. I didn’t regret having chosen the speciality and decided to go on with my studies to get a Master’s degree.

My supervisor’s name is Stukalo Vitaliy, who is a candidate of technical sciences and professor of Labour Protection and Aerology Department. My Master’s project is "Researsh of a condition and development of actions for decrease in a dust content of air, for prevention and localisation of explosions of a coal duct in the conditions of mine "Kurakhovskaya".

My future plans

I am planning to get a Master’s degree and find a good occupational job. I In the future I am planning to travel round the world.

My main future task is to be married with a close, friendly and loving family. I hope that my dreams will come true.
