CV | Abstract

Briefly about myself

I am fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, Hebrew, English (I have experience in working as an interpreter). Average grade in the period of «bachelor» degree was 4.5, "master" — 5.0 (out of 5). I am a sociable, responsible, organized, optimistic and easy-going person. I lead a healthy lifestyle, go in for sports, both actively and as a viewer.

Childhood

I was born on November 17, 1989, on International Students’ Day. My place of birth was a small town on the outskirts of Donetsk — Avdiyivka, where my parents lived: my mom — a teacher of Maths and my father — a teacher of Physical Education (now he is the head of the Ukrainian Kyokushinkaikan Karate Association).

Like childhood of most kids who grew up in small towns mine took place outdoors playing football, hockey and cycling.

At the age of 3 I went to a kindergarten, which was across the street to my house. There I met one of my best friends. I look back at my kindergarten times with pleasure only. Until now I remember a lot of bright moments: holidays, New Year celebrations, daily games and other. At the age of 5 I first went to karate which my father does. But I did not like this sport at the beginning.

Primary, secondary and high school

Studying period of my life was very diverse, because I moved quite often.

On September 1st, 1996, I went to my first school — Avdiyivka school number 3, where my mother and godmother worked. Being a "teacher’s kid" I had some privileges, but never forgot about studying. And as evidence I got a certificate of merit in the 2nd form. From the 1st form I started learning English. For that I am very grateful to my first teacher of this incredibly important subject — Savicheva Svetlana Anatolyevna.

Not completing the 5th form, in December, 1999, we moved to the Holy Land — Israel, Naharia, with my parents and sister, where I went to the best primary school "Golda Meir" named in honor of the politician and statesman of Israel. The first months were spent adapting and learning the language, which was not difficult at all — after only six months I spoke it almost perfectly. And then I immediately began to take an active part in class and school life.

Successfully completing primary school (the last stage of which is Israel is the 6th grade) I went to secondary school — a public school "Amal", where I continued to improve my language skills and actively participate in the learning process, which was very exciting and informative.

In August, 2002, I had to return to Ukraine together with my parents, but this time without my sister who stayed to study at the best university of Israel — "Technion", which she later successfully graduated from. On September 1st, 2002, I went to 8th form to my last school — TEC (teaching-educational complex) "Eidos" number 5, which now has the name of the educational complex number 5, named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Nickolay Pavlovich Boyko. There I found many friends who I still keep in touch with until today. While studying at the school I took an active part in its social and sport life. Thus, I would like to mention some of them: the 1st place in artistic performance «Autumn fantasy», the 1st place in air-rifle shooting (48 points out of 50 !!!), and, perhaps, the most resounding achievement — the 1st place as a member of Donetsk city team in a regional pre-army competition in category "small-bore rifle shooting" (46 points out of 50!). I would also like to mention playing for the school football team and participations in English language competitions. In addition to sports, physical training and pre-army I had a great interest in Geography and World History, which was led by my form tutor — law-historical (I still remember most capital cities).

At this time I was actively practicing karate, I was successfully passing attestations and took part in several tournaments. As a result I won Donetsk city tournament, Donetsk region tournament and came 2nd in national championship.

June 30, 2006, was my last day at school (by the way, to football (soccer) fans this date may seem familiar because on this day the Ukrainian national football team for the first time in its history qualified for quarterfinals of the World Cup, which was held in Germany, winning over the Swiss national team in a penalty shoot-out). Being desperately close to a silver medal (for having most of grades — A), I received a certificate of secondary education (11-12 forms).

University

Facing a choice of university I chose Donetsk National Technical University, because of its name and brand. But the choice of the faculty and the profession was far more complicated. As a result, I applied for a degree in Computer Engineering (now Department of Computer Science and Information Technology) on the specialty "Computer Environmental and Economic monitoring". By the entrance examinations results I was able to go study by contract basis. But on the 2nd year for my excellent academic performance I was allowed to study on budgetary form with a scholarship. As a result, after 4 years of studying my average grade was 4.5 (B+). The bachelor exam was passed with grade 5 (A).

My favorite subjects on a bachelor curriculum were Geographic Information Technology, Discrete Mathematics and the Internet Technology.

During my studies at university I have been improving my English skills which resulted in passing FCE exam (first certificate of English) and completing CAE (certificate of advanced English) course. To consolidate the knowledge of the language in 2009 I visited the United States on a students’ program. I worked there for 3 months in a kids camp "Surprise Lake Camp" (New York, NY).

After completing a bachelor degree I applied for master’s degree in "Quality, standardization and certification", Faculty of Management. It was a significant choice, as the role of quality in the world is growing every day, and I would like to be one of those who will provide this quality.

While studying in university I did not practice karate a lot but I succeeded in its other area — I became a judge. So far I have worked on kids and adult tournaments both national and international levels.

Plans for the future

My plans for the future are — of course — to successfully get a master’s degree in logistics area (where my topic is "Ways to improve the efficiency of goods traffic), my supervisor being the head of the "Quality Management" department professor, Doctor of Economics Momot Alexander Ivanovich. As well as the improvement of the level of English, this will certainly help me in achieving my career goals.
