Summary of research and developments

Introduction

The desire to maximize profit with limited resources encourages companies to review production capacity, evaluate its capabilities to search additional reserves of profitability improvement.

In this regard, there is a problem of choosing a method of company’s production capacity evaluation, which will identify the internal capabilities of the enterprise and to discover hidden reserves.

Recent research and publications analysis. The problem of productive capacity forming, its evaluation method choosing and its quality and efficiency improving are discussed in academic writings of O. Amosha, N. Migai, O. Fedonin, I. Repina, S. Pokropivny, N. Krasnokutskaya and others.

The aim of the research work is the further development of theoretical concepts, methodological approaches and development of practical recommendations on enterprise productive capacity management.

Summary of work

In the first chapter the theoretical aspects of the concept and evaluation of enterprise productive capacity are justified.

In economic literature various viewpoints are highlighted on issues related to the definition of "productive capacity”.

Production capacity of the company is a variety of relationship that arise in the enterprise in order to achieve maximum results when using industrial funds, material resources, personnel, land.

The methods for enterprise productive capacity evaluation were analyzed. There are three traditional approaches of enterprise productive capacity evaluation: cost approach, comparative approach and profitable approach.

In the second chapter methodological approaches of enterprise productive capacity evaluation were justified.

In the third chapter recommendations on improvement of enterprise productive capacity methods were developed.

Conclusion

Production capacity is a system of opportunities and a complex of productive resources of the enterprise, which enables efficient production process
