How it all began

It was the 1991th year from the birth of Jesus Christ. The sun was burning the wings of starlings and pigeons that were buzzing in the trees near the hospital where my mother dwelt in the city, which seemed like drawn with chalk on the wall, the city that represents the land of the workers and the brave men, in the capital of Donbass, in Donetsk city. So the buzz and hubbub was cut by scream and tramping of little feet. It was almost noon of the 141st day of the year 7499 from world’s creation. Summing up, in 11-20 on the 20th of May, 1991 the world’s mankind got another one little human being - Brovkina Daniella.

Personal formation

I grew up in a good family, I have the whole range of relatives: mother, father, elder sister, who has already managed to get her own family, and to give me a lovely niece at the moment of writing this biography, the grandmother, grandfather, great-grandmother and many others. My family is quite large and scattered in several cities of our native Ukraine.

At the age of three I went to a Waldorf kindergarten, where we were fed with white asparagus, while at the same time, about 99% of children in other kindergartens - with lentils. It was a wonderful kindergarten, where we played a lot, spent mornings walking in the park and celebrated all the holidays together. Overall, it was a great time. Unfortunately, the garden doesn’t exist anymore, otherwise I would gladly send my kids to this magnificent breeding ground of joy and happiness. Childhood is often the best time of our life, for me it passed very quickly and quietly. What a wonderful time!

Also, during those years, I spent a lot of time for arts: drawing, dancing, went to a music school in guitar class, which I successfully completed. Now I don’t have so much as I had in my childhood, so now it’s not enough for many of those things, that’s why many of my hobbies I have given up, putting in the forefront the most important, which are music and football. Music is exactly what permeates my entire life, inspires and gives me the right attitude for achievement of my goals. Back in music school I was playing in total on three instruments: guitar, domra in the orchestra, with which I even performed at the Philharmonic, and I taught myself to play piano. Also for a short time I sang in the choir, which also performed in the same Donetsk Regional Philharmonic. Music will always be my way to express my feelings and emotions, because I am a person quite taciturn and uncommunicative, and in general, quite closed to the world, but in music I pour all that accumulates inside. And for football, I think, there’s no need to comment anything. It's not just a game or a hobby, it's a lifestyle.

A little bit about the school years. In the first class I went in 1998 to the wonderful Educational complex number 1 or simply speaking, the school number 1 in Donetsk. In my humble opinion, this school is the number one not only by its number, but also by its value. I will always be grateful to this educational institution for all the knowledge and experience that it gave me. School years passed slow and fast at the same time. Studying at school I eventually fully understood the structure of society, and this structure doesn’t bring me any joy. I understand that the world is unfair, and I really want to change that. Our life is always dependent on something from the people who surround us and not always good people surround us. But no matter how dismal were sometimes my memories of school years, still there are always a variety of bright memories. For example, of my wonderful teachers who have taught me so much.

I graduated from school with a gold medal in 2008 and, after a long discussion with myself did decided that I wanted to learn for a system programmer and let my family use me to repair the entire household equipment, because the programmer should be able to repair the refrigerator. The choice of specialization was also influenced by my passion since childhood for computer games. Probably every programmer once wanted to write his own game. I do not leave hope ever to realize his dream. Since my pretty good memory and the ability to absorb quickly enormous amount of information allowed me to choose any sufficiently difficult specialty, and the main goal of my training and further work I see in the bringing relevance to society, at one point I faced a dilemma to become a programmer or a doctor. But after all I decided to devote my future to machines, not to people.

Professional formation

Assiduity and a good memory helped me to spend years in university with a huge advantage. Regularly working, studying and raising karma, I graduated a bachelorate with an honors degree in 2012 and in the same year was admitted to the magistracy on scholarship. In the same year my acquaintance with a robot Lego ™ Mindstorms ™ NXT 2.0 of our professor Mikhail Krasnyk happened and I am forever in love with this little miracle of technology ever since. So my master's work is also related to the advanced science to which Isaac Asimov devoted his famous works. The theme of my work, you have probably had time to read on this page, so I will not repeat itself, but in general, my job is to build and program my own robot. When it came time to choose a supervisor, to be my sensei I decided to ask Tatiana Alexandrovna Prikhodko. At that time she was teaching us two subjects: "Object-Oriented Programming" and "Computer Networks". Both subjects I really liked, and Tatiana Alexandrovna is a very good teacher and a person, so I decided without hesitation to be her ward student.

A ton of knowledge, ideas and an excellent supervisor - it's not all that I was given by my favorite university. I owe the university that I came across my great classmates. It is a pity that a lot of us did not get to the end, but I have a great relationships with my classmates and I am very happy that we have a good team.

What's next

I have the whole ocean of plans. The first and most achievable goal is to obtain a master's degree. And then what? Study, work, study, work. The main thing is to bring benefit and to do good. I hope I can succeed in the path I’ve chosen. I just need a bit of luck and support for people dear to me.
