1.Actuality of the topic

In connection with the dynamic expansion of the market for exported finished products, the enterprise has had to increase the area of ??storage facilities. Proceeding from this, it becomes urgent to question what is more profitable, to invest in the construction and equipment of own storage facilities or to use leased storage facilities?

Making the right decision on this issue is possible only with the use of precise economic calculations of costs for the two above options.

2. Purpose and objectives of the study

The purpose of this work is the economic justification and management of the implementation of the investment project to increase production capacity in a food industry enterprise (LLC Lakond)

3. Object and subject of research

The object of research of this work is the investment activity of the food industry enterprise.

The subject of the study is the theoretical and practical aspects of the development and management of the enterprise development project.

4.Main content

The project is understood as a complex of research, design, socio-economic, organizational and business and other activities related to resources, executors and terms, respectively, designed and aimed at changing the management object, as well as ensuring the effectiveness of solving the main tasks and achieving the relevant objectives for a certain period.

But the essence of the project is more highlighted in the following definition: the project is a temporary activity for creating value, thanks to the unique property of the project's product in the framework of achieving the mission of the socio-economic system.

Project management programs have long formed a separate software market. Project management programs can be used in different ways. For some, it is a tool for computer modeling of projects and miscalculation of the consequences of decisions taken before implementation, for others - a means of displaying the project's project indicators and preparing beautiful reporting.

In this master's thesis, the expediency of building a warehouse for finished products is considered. A warehouse is a complex technical structure (a building, a variety of equipment and other devices) intended for receiving, placing, accumulating, storing, processing, dispensing and delivering products to consumers.

In connection with the expansion of sales markets, the demand for certain types of products also increased accordingly. For a certain group of goods from the entire assortment of the factory, an additional building (warehouse) is planned. In order to see the feasibility of this project, it is necessary to carry out a feasibility study.

Also expediency will be considered from the point of view of alternative: what is more profitable for the enterprise, designing of building own premises on the territory of the factory or renting premises outside the factory.

Conclusion

In general, it can be noted that the successful operation of enterprises in the harsh conditions of competition and accelerated technological progress requires not only a systematic renovation of their material and technical base and its modernization, but also adequate provision of professional personnel capable of mastering the latest technologies in all areas of production and management . Consequently, we are talking about the acquisition of enterprises by personnel with a high level of education and modern knowledge.

The use of project management in the enterprise gives a positive effect, allows you to structure all the work processes, identify a clear circle of responsible persons, perform more complete control over the progress of work by employees.
