Biography

Personal formation

I, Shevelov Ivan Andreevich, was born on October 13, 1996 in the city of Donetsk. Like all children went to kindergarten, to school. In 2002 he went to the Educational complex No. 1 of the city of Donetsk (now the Donetsk multidisciplinary lyceum No. 1). From an early age, he had an increased interest in computers. Once I watched my father install games on a computer (I was about 5 years old) and decided to try my luck with this. Oddly enough, but I myself figured out the prompts of the installer what to do, analyzing all the steps of the process. Accordingly, for the fact that I did not ask permission, I still received a small punishment, but this only fueled my interest.

Unfortunately, it turned out that before the age of 12, my family did not have a single computer and I continued to get acquainted with various operating systems and processes on phones, starting with Nokia 6210. After I got Nokia 3220 with a color display, thanks to it I I learned how to rationally use the space on the device and got acquainted with the WAP Internet, where I spent all my money very safely on downloading games. After a while I got a laptop, we can say that it started my conscious future related to computers. There I studied all the features of the OS, applications, types of networks, connecting the phone to a PC, data transfer, etc. All my childhood and youth, I dreamed of becoming a cardiac surgeon, very intensively studied chemistry and biology, in which I excelled against the background of other subjects (I did not know programming and did not want to know, it seemed to be unnecessary).

In 2012, he entered the Erudite boarding school, where he studied for 2 years on a biological and chemical profile. I really liked to study there and be part of the team: responsive and experienced teachers, kind and cheerful classmates. But, unfortunately, there I decided that medicine and biology are definitely not mine and decided to connect my life with my favorite business - computers.

In 2014, he entered Donetsk National Technical University with a degree in Software Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Technology. Thanks to the university, I learned a lot of languages, algorithms, systems, made a lot of friendly and professional contacts with which I still communicate.

Professional development

By chance I got a job in technical support. My main tasks were:

Thanks to productive work and my enthusiasm, I became a senior technical support specialist. Main responsibilities:

Since I was studying as a programmer, of course, I really wanted to connect my IT life and I learned about such a huge IT industry – QA or software testing. After I read 4 books on testing, got acquainted with a lot of materials from conferences, I decided to go for an interview for this position in my company. I succeeded from the 3rd time, but still succeeded. So began my official IT career and work in the specialty. Key responsibilities of QA Engineer:

Even this successful IT work did not kill me in the desire to develop something of my own and write program code, so I did not stop and began to study the automation of software testing. It was a slightly different programming, 25 percent of what we were taught at the university came in handy, but it is very interesting! After half a year, I became a full-fledged project automation engineer, and after that I became the head of three testing departments. My responsibilities also included:

Goals, plans and vision for the future

Most of all, I strive to not stop there, always develop in a personal and professional way, reach new heights in all aspects of my life and at the same time always remain myself.
