When I was 5 I was already able to read fluently, Therefore I was sent to school when I was 5 years. I was the youngest in my class. I remember, from the first class when we have started to study English and words “ father, mother, sister, brother ” became more native for me then Russian words. At that time I did not know yet, that English becomes my second native language.

I studied very good at school though it was not difficult at all.

When I was 7 years old, I have gone on aerobics, and trainings took the most part of my time. For the second year of trainings I have broken my nose, and nobody see me in that school anymore.

When I was 8 I have started to learn to play piano, it was always the dream of my mum. I have finished musical school in 15 years.

My favourite subjects at school were always mathematics and English.

I and my girl friend were taking part in active life of our school. Basically we prepared dances because since 12 years I began to be engaged in dancing group "Edelveis". Our class was very amicable, and we took 1 places on school actions very often. We also arranged class evenings. They were full of joy.

I have finished school with a silver medal because the teacher on Russian didn’t want to put excellent mark for me though I was doing very good at this subject. She told me: « Only when you bring 3 litres of paint I will put you excellent mark», but I did not want, I wanted to reach this mark myself. Now I am only grateful to her for this because I know Russian on real “5”.

What I really think as Special achievements during the school period is overlapping study with pleasant pastime in a circle of friends. I never sat at textbooks during the nights, and always carried out the domestic task with pleasure.

Motives of entering DNTU and a choice of a speciality

Up to 11 classes I dreamed to enter Gorlovskiy Institute of Foreign Languages. From 8th class I was studying English with private teacher. But in April, one month before leaving school, I have changed the decision, and I am so thankful for god for doing this. I have told to my parents that I do not want to forget mathematics, and would be very glad, if my speciality combined my two favourite subjects.

I have chosen DNTU, first of all, because my sister, Proskurnina Maya, already studied on 1st course of DNTU on speciality “Computer facilities” and was pleased as to received knowledge. And second, I heard many positive responses about the quality of knowledge given in this University.

So, in 1998 I have submitted documents on a speciality «International Economy». Many teachers of my school dissuaded me to go on this speciality. They told me that it’s impossible to enter the budget group without money. But I have tried, and had luck to succeed. I won’t tell, that it was very easy for me. I prepared for exams with the great diligence. Tasks on mathematics were very difficult. But the result justifies means, and in soul I always thank the commission which has considered, that I am worthy studying in our University.

At the end of 1 course, the students of all groups were suggested to enter the Holland group of a speciality «International economy». Many subjects were supposed to be lead in English in this course. I have passed examination - just had luck. It was a little bit difficult to study mathematics in English but our group succeed quite succesfully.

In the autumn of 2002 I have left for Germany on training of German language. I have studied there 2 semesters but should have come back to atudying here.

My motivation as to chosing such theme of thesis

International trade activity was always one of the most interesting subjects in University. I have written some works on World Trade Organisation which directly concerns to foreign trade activities of all countries. Also, I have passed financial practice in the First Ukrainian International Bank which have been devoted to foreign trade activities. One more productive practice was on Kahrtsyzsk Tube Plant in the department of foreign trade. I was really interested in events which pass on that plant now and decided to write the thesis on theme: "Increase of foreign trade efficiency at the enterprise (on example of Khartsyzsk Tube Works"

It's clear that export activity of Ukraine is in a pitiable condition because 40 % of export is raw material. But nobody have been «raw tiger» still. Therefore we should find the ways to requalify the export orientation and to enlarge foreign trade activity of products done. We should make the production really competitive and to promote it on foreign markets.

Personal prospects

In future I am planning to work on the big enterprise as an expert in the sphere of international trade activity. I wish to communicate with foreign people, investigate foreign markets, I wish the knowledege, which I got in Univercity to promote the development of my experience in professional sphere. Ambitions help to survive and enjoy the life, to live - not to just to exist. But you should never forget about personal life when you are too busy with your work. I don't want to bury myself in the tones of books without feeling the love of the family, without life in the surrounding world. I will enjoy my life as beside the profession I need to reach so much else in this life. By the way the small,  nice auto, Pego 207 for example, is also my goal for the next 5 years.
