My name is Kvanin Yaroslav. I was born on 1st April 1982 in the city of Donetsk, Ukraine. My father’s name is Kvanin Anatoliy and my mother’s name is Kvanina Margarita. I have a sister, her name I Kvanina Inna.

From the day I was born I was perceived as a very active child. When the majority of children were trying to walk I could run already. To read and to write I started very early. By the time I was 5 I had known a lot of poems written by Pushkin, Esenin, Nekrasov. Even at this age I showed a great interest to logic games, puzzles and stuff like these. I’d like to extend thanks to my grandmothers, Klesheva Daria, Strijeva Antonina- a very kind people - for my bringing up. The stuff in kindergarten liked me very much and predicted me a successful studying at school.

School years

In my school №2 I liked all the subjects. But I liked mathematics, chemistry, physics and literature most of all. I regularly attended the competitions on math and won the price places. For the love to this subject I’d like to say thanks to Gritsenko Tania.

At school I studied well but I received excellent marks not often due to the fact that I enjoied not only studying but also liked participation in many sections and clubs where I took an active part. This allowed me to direct my energy in different spheres and make my outlook wider opening new abilities in my personality, which I’m grateful my parents for. I took part in the majority of sections in my town. I attended karate and dancing club when I was in the 1st form after I was presented with real boxing gloves. Knowledge acquired I directed to defending the weeks and truth. At this exact time I started playing chess and checkers with my father. I attended a chess club where I received the 2nd junior prize in this direction. Interests to such occupations like swimming, art, carting, rocket modeling, studying English appeared when I was in 5-10 forms.

In 1999 I finished the musical school on guitar specialty. Having been presented such a beautiful instrument I had nothing to do but to learn how to play it, although I had been presented an accordion before. A fortepiano in our house and a beautiful mother’s and sister’s play didn’t leave me apathetical as well. From that moment on I fell in love with classical musical creations and music in general.

In 10-11 forms I was searching for an answer: which profession to take and where to continue the studying. One thing I knew for sure – additional learning of mathematical and English would be to the point. Having successfully passed all the exams, I finished the school and received a certificate with some good marks.

Motives of entering DNTU and choosing a specialty

Until the 10th form I was dreaming of entering Donetsk Institute of Home Affairs or Donetsk National University and of becoming a good prosperous lawyer. Having considered all pros and cons I decided to postpone my dream a little. Interest to English which I studied additionally with my tutor, math, and economics played a great role in my choice. In April – a moths before finishing the school – I already knew that I’d connect my subsequent studying with economics and having chosen the best higher educational establishment I went to apply for a studying. I told my parents that I wouldn’t want to forget math and be glad if my future specialty could connect my two favorite subjects. Due to advice of Nosenko Y.L. whom I didn’t know well at that time and my lovely mother I decided to chose International Economy, which I’m now very thankful to God. I reckoned that having received this very specialty I could bring together likable and interesting and with the maximum feedback I could help my country and my people being at on the front page of the most appreciable events and phases of my Motherland. The studying has shown that the choice of establishment as well as specialty was quite successful. I could judge so because of communication with former classmates and my acquaintances from another establishments who I tried not to forget about and recent all-Ukrainian students competition in 2004 in Lvov under the supervision of Faivishenko L.V., in which I received the fifth place.

During the whole period of studying I made a lot of acquaintances, some of which become my best friends. It’s next to impossible to forget the communication with such well-known teachers as Nosenko Y.L., Usachova G.M., Todorova N.Y., Khomenko Y.V., Klimenko T.V. They helped me to believe in myself, in my power, to feel the ground under the feet. This knowledge was successfully implemented in such listed above internships:
