Welcome to a page where you can get acquainted with me a little!
My name is Elena Sikorskaja. I was born on August, 18 in 1982 in the city of Enakievo in Donetsk region, for what I am grateful to my parents Alexander and Marina.
In the childhood I has been growing silent, harmless, rather cheerful girl. I used to be the favourite of all the relatives. Till 4 years old I had been growing under the supervision of my great-grandmother. But then I had to go to kindergarten. I always went there with great pleasure. I learned to read and count right there!
So, having gone at school in 1989 I had been already prepared for educational process. I carried out home tasks under strict supervision of my grandmother, what I am very grateful to her for. She taught me discipline and accuracy. Grandmother's and my diligences have been renumerated by "excellent" marks, and also by a gold medal. My favorite subjects at school were mathematics, economy and English. At 9-11 classes I constantly participated in city Olympiads, have won prize places on Russian and mathematics. I took part in all creative actions of my school and class, that was always very amicable, almost always we won first places. We frequently celebrated birthdays and other cheerful entertaining events in our class, travelled all over Ukraine, visiting different cities. I liked that very much. At 12 years old I began dancing in club of sports ballroom dances "Êrok" under the supervision of the trainer Odud A. who had the supreme category and was a remarkable person. It helped me to become more liberated person, gave an opportunity to communicate with versatile and interesting advanced people, I learned to operate my feelings, concretize purposes in life, and, in general, it helps me to keep a good physical. My collective constantly took part in the competitions on ballroom dances in the cities of Ukraine; in summer we went in sport camps where despite of three trainings a day we managed to enjoy ourselves. Till now I regret that after graduating school I had to leave this kind of sports, the one that the best for me!!!
So, the time to go towards to the adult world has come and I had to choose higher educational school that would determine my future life. From 8 classes I wanted to enter Institute of Foreign Languages in Gorlovka. But at the beginning of 11 classes I have changed my decision and I haven't regretted by now. I decided that I wanted to continue studying mathematics, economy and simultaneously study languages. I have chosen Donetsk National Technical University (the one the biggest and first in Donbass) because I heard many positive responses about the quality of specialists' preparation. Moreover, many of my friends studied there. So, in June 1999 I have submitted documents on the specialty "International economy". I wanted to prove everybody that I really deserved gold medal not for my "beautiful eyes", and to act on budgetary financing … And I've done it, despite of that complicated tasks on mathematics I have got "excellent"! Here I have met many interesting people, have found out huge amount of useful information. Since 2001 I am a member of trade-union committee of students and post-graduate students of Donetsk national technical university. Since 2001 - the chairman of the organizational-mass commission of a trade-union bureau of faculty of economy and management DNTU.
In 2003 I have received the bachelor's degree on "Economy and business" (the diploma with honor). After bachelor's degree I continue my studying in a magistracy of faculty of economy and management in Donetsk national technical university on the speciality "International economy" During my studying the most interesting subjects for me were the ones connected with foreign trade activities. I have written some works on the World Trading organization that directly concerns to foreign trade activities of all countries. The choice of the theme of my dissertation "Development of an export potential of Ukraine " (under the direction of the senior lecturer, Cand.Tech.Sci., Oleynikov A.) has been considered and solved much earlier. And, in 2003 I passed practice on the Enakievo Metal Plant in a department of Foreign trade activities and I was really interested with their work.
Personal prospects I want knowledge, I will receive at university, promote development of my experience in professional sphere. Ambitions help the person to survive and to enjoy life: to live, but not to exist. However, I am not going to forget about private life. In future I see myself as the successful woman who is engaged in her favorite business, has happy family, huge love, travels all over the world and satisfies any desires of her own and her relatives.
