Masters thesis topic “Problems and Development perspectives of the insurance market in Ukraine”

   I was born on the 11th December, 1981 in Donetsk and here I went to school for the first time. My schooling took place in Scholar-Educational Complex #1 (former General School #1). In 10-11 forms, having chosen economics form I took part in regional competitions in law and economics, which was very interesting for me. Towards the end of the school I had only four “B”’s in my certificate. So after I graduated the school, and after successfully passing the entrance exams I have been enrolled as a student of Donetsk National Technical University on the faculty of economics and management.

   The question of choice of university has been solved by me while still studying at school. DonNTU is one of the oldest Universities in Ukraine, which provides the education of a world level. From the variety of specialties which were interesting to me I have chosen the “Economics of Enterprise” as current economical situation in Ukraine has predetermined the perspectives of this direction. I can’t say that studies were very easy for me. In 2003 I’ve received bachelor’s degree with honors. Next was entering the mastership. During the 5th year of University, in March 2004 I took part in the International Scientifically-Theoretical Conference of Young Scientists “Actual Problems Of Economical And Social Development Of Production Sphere”. I have made a report in which I proposed a methodic for work of a marketing department of an insurance company.

   In May 2004 I took part in V International Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Economics and Marketing in XXI century”. I have worked on one of the most important problems of current period – a problem of insurance of an enterprise risks. For this article I have been reworded with a letter.

   At the moment I study for the Masters Degree and work on issues concerning dissertation “Problems and Perspectives of Development of Insurance Market”. On the choice of this topic has affected the fact that I had an internship and currently work for the Donetsk Branch of SKIDE-WEST Insurance Company and also the actuality of this topic is determined by the point of development of Ukrainian economics, when the insurance market of Ukraine is being developed fast.

   In future I’m planning to work in a field of insurance because I consider this direction to be one of the most new and necessary for the growth of Ukrainian economics to reach the decent level. Being an ambitious person I see myself in future in management of some large insurance company.
