Autobiography
My name is Shadi, I was born in 1981 in Hanunes, Palestene.
I graduated the Secondary School in town Hanunes with excellent marks
in 1997. In school I was very interested in two subjects: biology and
computer lessons, I took part in different conferences and seminars with
great pleasure. And maybe that’s why the computers become my speciality
in the University.
In the year 1998 I came to Donetsk to make my school dream
become true – to become a computer programmer.
In the first year of my study in the Language-preparing
Department it was very hard and the Russian language seemed to be the
hardest language in the world. But I worked a lot and soon I mastered
the basis of this “multi-cased” language.
After graduating the language-preparing Department and
having the Diploma, I entered the Donetsk National Technical University,
the Department of computer engineering, the speciality of programming
maintenance.
The first year of study was not so smooth; the knowledge of
the Russian language wasn’t enough to understand the lector. The lectures
seemed to last forever. The lectors spoke so fast that it was hardly possible
put down the topic and some points of the plan of the lecture. As usual
the course-mates helped me a lot – they gave the notes to copy, explained
me the complicated materials… but in the course of time I learnt to define
the most important moments form what lector said and on the second year
I could write reports, research works, do the laboratory works myself.
During the years of studying in the University I learnt lots
of new things: operating system, the data basis, different languages of
programming and etc.
At spear from the studies time I like to communicate with different
people, I have lots of friends not only from my university and my group
but also from other Universities and of other specialities.
Last year I received the Diploma of the Bachelor’s Degree and
now I continue my study to get the Master’s degree. Now I work on my degree
work. It’s a very hard work to do. I have to spend much time working with
the literature, to consult with my supervisor of studies and to have deal
not only with the theory but also with the practice.
The defense of my Diploma project will take place January 2006,
which will be one more important step in my life.
After my getting the master’s degree I want to go back to my
Motherland and to find a good job which corresponds with my speciality.
If there will be the opportunity I want to continue my study
to get a higher degree in some other western country to get more practice
and experience.
I appreciate to my university and my professors, and
my group-mates.
