I was born on July 23d 1983 in the Gorlovka town of the Donetsk region. Parents: Viktor Grigorjevich Filimoshin (1958) and Lyubov Vladimirovna Filimoshina ( 1960 – 2001).
My childhood was happy and carefree. The dolls Asya and Dasha and the Tiger toy were my favourite. When I was three years old I knew rhymes, verses, and fairy tales the parents used to read to me by heart. When in kindergarten I, instead of our tutors, retold them to the children during rest time.
In 1988 our family moved to the village called Kurdyumovka of the Dzerzhinski District and I was admitted to the preparatory group of the kindergarten Zvyozdochka.
On September 1st 1989 I started going to the secondary school ¹ 12 of Kurdyumovka. In December my parents “have bought” me the sister Natasha whom I loved from the first sight. We are good friends and never quarrel.
In 1991 I was admitted to the musical school of Artyomovsk where I had been taught playing bayan for 5 years.
I did well at school, was very active as to taking part in different entertaining events such as KVNs, was the class monitor.
In 1998 I finished the 9th form of the school, obtained the education certificate with honour and was admitted to the secondary school ¹ 11 of Artyomovsk which I graduated from with the gold medal in 2000.
I entered the entrance contest which was organized by the Department of Mechanical Equipment of Ferrous Metallurgy Plants (MEFMP) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Donetsk National Technical University and was enrolled as their student. I had found it out before the school final exams were over.
I liked to be a student. I had many friends and the teachers were excellent. I was chosen to be the group’s monitor during my first year of study. I did my best to be a good monitor.
I lived at my aunt’s but wanted to be independent very much. So I moved to the hostel ¹ 4 at the second year of study. The hostel became my second home. I found new friend, boys and girls, at the hostel. We visited each other very often but didn’t forget about studying. Time flew very quickly. It was the brightest period of my life which will remain in my memory forever.
In 2004 I got the Bachelor Diploma and decided to continue my education at the magistrates. The topic of the thesis I am working at is Improvement of the Construction of the Hydraulic Balance Unit of the Spindle Bond. Dr Vladimir Ivanovich Rudenko is my supervisor. He is the author of 27 inventions and more than 50 scientific papers. He specializes in mechanical equipment of metallurgical plants.
At present there is a lack of qualified specialists in mechanical equipment of metallurgical plants in our country. The MEFMP Department trains specialists of this profile. Its graduates work at metallurgical plants, research institutions and occupy the leading positions there.
The group of authors ( I was among them) invented the useful model The Spindle Balance Unit in 2005, the patent on which is supposed to be obtained in early 2006.
I plan to master a foreign language, defend the Master’s thesis and become a highly-qualified specialist.
