After appearance of the personal computers of technology continued to develop, and the necessity of miniature devices that would carry out the role of valuable computer appeared. For long time of the PocketPC perfection, they provided oneself by the colored touch screens, photos and video cameras, and other multimedia possibilities. In addition, along with the most necessary for PocketPC office programs there was a necessity in concomitant graphic software, be that games, graphics editors or other programs. Certainly, in standard delivery almost built-in graphic applications enter always, but frequently they will realize the smallest stake of functions, which expect from them ordinary users only.

    During implementation of research work of student, I analyzed different platforms for PocketPC, as a result I chose the Windows Mobile platform. This platform, to my mind, most developed on today, and the devices on its basis are equipped on the last word of technique, that does them very attractive for writing of the «interesting» programs. Because the operating system Windows Mobile belongs to the Microsoft family, for development of applications it is possible to take advantage of such popular software as Microsoft Visual Studio.

    Similarly, it is very desirable to mark the novelty of subject and direction overall, because in a whole world very much not enough firms which are engaged in development of applications for PocketPC, and in Ukraine – there is none. Absence of literature and thematic sites devoted to this problem is investigation of it. There was one exit for me, in this situation; there was the order of toolkit at the Microsoft Corporation.

    During research of features of programing for the handled personal computers, was written the «extended calculator» with me.

    In future, I am going to explore wireless protocol of data communication – “BlueTooth”, and work with this protocol on PocketPC. The program realizing the functions of remote control unit will be the result of researches, by such popular multimedia player, as «WinAmp». The program will be realize, as a server is the special connected library to WinAmp, and client – directly developed program for PocketPC.
